Your Opportunity in the Ansible Automation Squad

This vacancy is within the Ansible Automation squad, part of Rabobank Foundation4Tech’s Information-as-Code area.

Making a Difference

• The activities range from providing a 24/7 AAP automation service for hundreds of application and platform teams across the bank to developing new automation needed for seamless development and delivery by these teams.
• Work in an international environment with our AAP automation platform team based in our offices in Utrecht and London.
• Security is at the heart of what we do; your security mindset will contribute to a stable and secure Rabobank.
• All this within a 9000+ on-prem server environment.

Your Toolkit

To excel in this role, you should have:

• Multiple years of experience in a large-scale (9000+) complex infrastructure environment
• An attitude that embraces automation as a solution
• Experience with automation tooling, preferably Ansible Automation Platform (AAP)
• A profound understanding of Linux and Windows operating systems
• Knowledge of Security and Compliance on Linux or Windows platforms
• Experience with Security tooling, preferably CyberArk and Qualys
• Knowledge and experience with Scrum / Agile methodologies
• Resourcefulness, flexibility, strong analytical skills, and a critical mindset when needed
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• High proficiency in English (speaking, reading, and writing)
• A solid understanding of IT operations activities and familiarity with ITIL and ICP (Incident, Change, Problem)

Working Together

In our team, we strive for a balance between responsibility and mandate. Every team member owns subject matters they are responsible for, alongside at least one colleague. These subjects may encompass services, products, or both. As a team, we provide a 24/7 automation service, including standby and daily operational shifts.

Working conditions: This job role offers a balanced split between operational (run) and project (build) work, with a distribution of 75% operational and 25% project-related tasks. To minimize the impact on business operations, some changes may be scheduled outside of regular business hours.
