Your Role

You will work in a dynamic environment with colleagues from diverse international backgrounds, helping with the guidance and implementation of AI within the bank. You will be part of the Global AI Chapter, whose mission is to accelerate AI adoption in line with business priorities, ensure responsible and structured AI usage, and promote a strong AI culture. Our work focuses on delivering AI-driven improvements for customers and employees, contributing to a better world together. The chapter is rapidly evolving as a team and as a global partner for colleagues in the organization, so adaptability and openness to change are essential.

What We Expect from You:

You have a strong interest in translating business needs into functional requirements and excel in solving complex problems. As a business analyst, you contribute to the design, development, and improvement of a global application that supports both the AI system inventory and workflow management. This makes it a highly impactful and evolving area. Your primary responsibility is to translate business needs into functional requirements for the AI System Inventory (AISI) and ensure that the implementation is coherent and in line with global standards. You play a key role in enabling responsible AI adoption and ensuring compliance within the bank. Additionally, you ensure that the data used within these processes meets high standards of accuracy, completeness, and consistency, supporting effective risk management and reliable reporting. Throughout your work, you adhere to Rabobank's compliance and security standards.

As a Business Analyst, You Can Make a Difference:

  • In capturing and prioritizing requirements in collaboration with the product owner, balancing business needs and technical feasibility.
  • In identifying, modeling, and documenting business processes and requirements for the AI system inventory and workflow management.
  • In supporting the solution of obstacles and contributing to continuous improvement.
  • By working with the product owner and the DevOps team on planning and roadmap.
  • As the primary contact for stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and alignment.
  • By constructively challenging stakeholders on requirements so that they fit into the global way of working, Rabobank worldwide.
  • By ensuring that data quality principles—accuracy, completeness, and consistency—are embedded in all processes to support reliable reporting and risk management.

Desired Start Date: December 15, if this is not feasible, then the start date will be January 5, 2026.

Regular office day: Wednesday

Duration: December 15, 2025 - June 30, 2026, with an option for extension

You and Your Talent

Customer focus, initiative, communication, pragmatic approach, and delivering results are clearly essential for the role of Business Analyst. In addition, it's important that you recognize most of the elements in the checklist below:

  • A bachelor’s degree or Master's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst in IT or data-driven projects.
  • Strong understanding of AI governance, compliance, and inventory systems.
  • Proven ability to translate business needs into technical requirements.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum and DevOps environments.
  • Excellent analytical skills and ability to solve complex problems.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills in an international, multicultural setting, with strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Energy and enthusiasm for working in a creative and pioneering environment.
  • Ability to negotiate and influence to achieve common solutions.
  • Awareness of data quality principles (accuracy, completeness, consistency) and their importance for reliable reporting and risk management.

Knowledge of the Dutch language is a plus

Working conditions: This job role offers a balanced split between operational (run) and project (build) work, with a distribution of 75% operational and 25% project-related tasks. To minimize the impact on business operations, some changes may be scheduled outside of regular business hours.
