You and Your Job

You'll work alongside a multidisciplinary squad that aims to turn Rabobank's digital ambitions into reality within the Tech4Engineering domain, collaborating closely with both business and IT stakeholders.

As part of a DevOps team, your responsibilities will include developing, maintaining, and supporting an exceptional Container platform environment. This includes performing version upgrades, handling fault prevention and resolution, managing roadmap implementations, and providing specialized product advice. With constant technological advancements and new integrations shaping our landscape, innovation and research will be a key part of your role. As a DevOps Engineer, you'll make a significant impact on how our customers perceive the services we provide, ultimately striving to give them a 9+ experience.

About Tech4Engineering

Tech4Engineering's mission is to reduce the cognitive load on our engineers across the bank. Your role will involve implementing and operationalizing the container platform on Azure/AKS, setting the standard for all containerized applications in this environment.

The Tribe Tech4Engineering, which is part of Engineering & Enterprise Tech, consists of approximately 500 FTE. We're focused on self-service, enabling consuming DevOps teams to operate with full autonomy. This can be challenging during reorganizations and periods of pressure to establish operational environments. The effects of these changes touch processes, team structures, and the overall way employees within the tribe perform their work.

Strong expertise in containerization, particularly with AKS, ACS, Docker, and Kubernetes (K8S).

Advanced Azure experience, covering storage, networking, IAM, serverless, and related services.

Proficiency in Terraform for Infrastructure as Code (IaC).

In-depth understanding of Git, CI/CD pipelines, ArgoCD, and DevOps practices.

Scripting skills in Python, Bash, or similar languages.

Certifications in Azure or Kubernetes are preferred but not required.
