About the Team
As a team, we develop and maintain future-proof and compliant information solutions within Financial Economic Crime (FEC) Tech Data & Insights. Our focus is on further developing technical solutions that provide context-driven insights to support FEC analysts investigating Rabobank's customers.
Currently, more than 3,000 FEC analysts utilize the dashboard daily to gather information about Rabobank's clients. We are in the midst of transitioning from a one-size-fits-all solution to a context-driven information solution.
Your Role
As a Medior Data Analyst (BI Translator), you'll work in a fast-paced and challenging environment, responding to external regulatory demands, new innovations, and compliance requirements. We expect you to bring your experience and hands-on mentality to support the team in building new data solutions that meet the needs of our business stakeholders and align with the vision of our Data & Insights team within the Financial & Economic Crime Department. You'll share your expertise on managing stakeholders effectively, gathering and defining requirements for new data solutions, anticipating business needs, and identifying potential risks. Together as a team, you will deliver new, valuable data solutions according to the Scrum framework.
Practical Examples of Your Work
- Build future-proof data solutions (e.g., web application widgets, PowerBI insights) based on technical requirements derived from business needs.
- Work closely with data engineers and source data owners to maintain, simplify, and enhance existing applications, thereby increasing efficiency and data quality.
- Bring an overarching vision for data products to ensure we create valuable and sustainable information solutions.

- Translate business needs into adequate development requirements and ultimately data solutions in the form of information widgets.
- Ensure the maintenance and development of the squad's data products into future-proof and compliant solutions.
- Guide and influence team members towards the area’s vision while sharing your expertise.

Requirements
You and Your Talent
- Bachelor or Master Degree;
- Experienced in: Power BI, DAX, SQL, Databricks;
- At least 3 years of experience in a similar role;
- Experience with working Agile/Scrum;
- Result-oriented, with a can-do mentality;
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to learn quickly to understand complex topics;
- Team player: able to work well with others to deliver value to our organization;
- Able to think ahead and take initiative to improve and optimize;
- Proficient in English and Dutch;
- This is a selection of the terms of employment based on a 36-hour working week.
