Data, AI & Analytics
Het doel van Data, AI & Analytics is om bij te dragen aan het beschikbaar en betrouwbaar maken van data door de hele Schiphol organisatie. Om deze ambitie vorm te geven, werken we hard aan de data beschikbaarheid op een zo hoog mogelijk niveau te krijgen. Dat kan variëren van data over bagage, retail, vluchten, passagiersstromen, etc.

Binnen Schiphol wordt er hard gewerkt aan de implementatie van een modern data platform (binnen de Microsoft stack). We gebruiken tooling als DBT, Azure DevOps, Azure Databricks en Synapse Analytics (Pipelines). In deze rol ben je verantwoordelijk voor het ontwikkelen van verschillende datawarehouses/lakehouses voor de verschillende domeinen binnen Schiphol.

Over het team

Je wordt onderdeel van een multidisciplinair Product team bij Business Platform Security & Safety Technology, bestaande uit back-end specialisten, front-end specialisten, data scientisten, machine learning engineers, business analisten, product owner(s) en een data lead.

Het Security Insights-team is een groep toegewijde professionals die zich inzetten voor de ontwikkeling van geavanceerde dataproducten die cruciale inzichten bieden. Het team gedijt op samenwerking, creativiteit en een gedeelde passie voor het verbeteren van de luchtvaartbeveiliging door middel van datagestuurde oplossingen. Ze werken op het snijvlak van technologie en beveiligingsprocessen en maken gebruik van geavanceerde analyses en machine learning om bruikbare informatie te leveren.

Functie-eisen Data Engineer bij Schiphol

Als Data Engineer binnen het DWH domein heb je een belangrijke rol. Hier zijn de vereisten waarmee je aan de slag kunt:

• Minimaal 3 jaar ervaring als Data Engineer binnen het DWH domein
• Minimaal 3 jaar aantoonbare ervaring met Dimensioneel- en Data Modelleren
• Minimaal 2 jaar aantoonbare ervaring binnen Microsoft Azure
• Aantoonbare ervaring met SQL/ETL
• Aantoonbare ervaring met Azure Data Factory / Azure Synapse
• Aantoonbare ervaring met Databricks
• Aantoonbare ervaring met Git (Azure DevOps)
• Ervaring in Agile werken

Wensen

Naast de eisen zijn er ook een aantal wensen die je kunt vervullen:

• Azure certificering is een pré
• Ervaring met DBT is een pré
• Ervaring met het ontwikkelen van datamarts t.b.v. front-end/business (self service) is een pré
• Voorkeur voor Nederlands als moedertaal

Working conditions: This job role offers a balanced split between operational (run) and project (build) work, with a distribution of 75% operational and 25% project-related tasks. To minimize the impact on business operations, some changes may be scheduled outside of regular business hours.
