Within Rabobank’s Legal department, we manage legal risks and safeguard the reputation of Rabobank by providing high-quality legal support and solutions.
About the Role
As a Paralegal in Legal FMPR, you will engage in financial markets documentation, negotiations, and transactions—working with ISDA documentation, GMRAs, and GMSLAs, alongside various administrative tasks.
Your Qualifications
You should already have experience in negotiating ISDA documentation and/or GMSLAs/GMRAs. You are someone who can work under short deadlines, stays organized, is proactive, flexible, and thinks outside the box. A collaborative mindset is key for this role.
You and Your Mission
- You will work in Legal FMPR with 13 direct colleagues in Utrecht, collaborating seamlessly with international teammates.
- You will be part of an international, dynamic, social, and enthusiastic team.
- The work will be challenging and varied, where no day is ever the same.
- Expect close collaboration with the internal stakeholders that Legal FMPR supports.
- This mission requires a commitment of 32 to 36 hours per week.
- A hybrid working model is in place, with balanced home and office working days (Mondays and Thursdays in the Utrecht office).
Position Details

Start date: as soon as possible
Duration: 3 to 4 months
Excellent command of the English language is required
Knowledge of the Dutch language is not required
Candidate must reside in the Netherlands
Fixed office days are Monday and Thursday
No self-employed candidates
The role involves financial markets documentation with the team Financial Markets, Products & Regulation (FMPR), Legal Wholesale & Rural.

For this mission, we are looking for a Legal Counsel or Paralegal with relevant work experience who meets the following qualifications:
- HBO Dutch Law
- Relevant work experience in ISDA documentation and/or GMRA/GMSLA negotiations and related administration
- Strong English language skills
