Infrastructure Engineer-duplicaat-duplicaat
Job description
Join Our Cyber Recovery Team as a DevOps Engineer
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated DevOps Engineer to join our Cyber Recovery team. This role is pivotal in automating infrastructure deployment, ensuring configuration and security compliance, and streamlining operational processes in a secure and resilient environment. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code solutions.
Overview of the Role
Focus will be on the rapidly developing services for ransomware protection and recovery. You will deliver and maintain a largely autonomous environment which, in the event of a successful ransomware attack on the bank, will allow the speedy recovery of multiple affected systems into ring-fenced environments where they can be analyzed, cleansed of any malware, and rapidly recovered into the production environments.
Your area of responsibility will be to protect and recover both application data and infrastructure configuration data. Cutting-edge technology, security, and extensive automation will be mainstream elements of your job.
The environment you build is the last resort for Rabobank systems in the event of a ransomware attack. The nature of the clean room environment means you must be versatile and knowledgeable in multiple supporting technologies.
You take responsibility to support, develop, and optimize security and recovery for our compute, converged, storage, backup, and archive environments with 21,000 VMs and nearly 20 PB of data across Europe and the Americas. These systems host thousands of applications and millions of customers. You will be working in a multi-disciplinary and international team, learning about multiple services within the department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement automated infrastructure deployment using tools like Ansible, Packer, and Cloud-init.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps, integrating with Azure Git repositories.
- Automate configuration management and enforce compliance standards across environments.
- Write and maintain PowerShell and Bash scripts for automation and orchestration tasks.
- Integrate and consume REST APIs for infrastructure and service automation.
- Collaborate with security and recovery teams to ensure infrastructure aligns with cyber recovery and resilience best practices.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize deployment workflows and system performance.
- Document processes, configurations, and design decisions.
