Market Data IT Team Overview
The Market Data IT Team in Tribe Markets & Treasury is responsible for delivering stable, high quality, secure, and cost-efficient infrastructure solutions for Rabobank’s businesses. This incorporates the design, implementation, security, and support of various systems including data centre networks, server capacity, data centres, and workplace devices (desktop, laptop, mobile). The team supports applications used across different regions, from Australia to Brazil, and operates from multiple locations including London, Utrecht, and India.
Key Responsibilities
- Define Requirements: Maintain Market Data (MD) technical infrastructure at zero downtime.
- Architectural Guidance: Provide strategic and tactical architectural guidance related to the implementation of market data systems.
- Proposal Authorisation: Authorise proposals relating to the design and implementation of market data systems.
- Documentation Management: Manage and maintain all Market Data procedures and systems documentation.
- Incident Management: Improve governance of Incident Management and define the Monitoring Matrix.
- Stakeholder Alignment: Align with stakeholders on the usage of the applications.
- Migrate Application Contracts: Collaborate with stakeholders on the migration of application contracts from On-Prem to Managed Service.
- Current Landscape Documentation: Document the current landscape and analyse improvements.
- Business Representation: Represent business stakeholders and provide the squad with business needs using your expertise.
- Data Analysis: Analyse data and configure market data to help the bank remain in control.

Requirements
Business Knowledge/Skills
- Proven knowledge of market data systems: LSEG Workspace, Bloomberg B-Pipe, and Bloomberg Terminal
- Proven knowledge of RTDS: including DACS entitlements, ATS, ADS, and ADH including Non-Interactive Publishing services and Real-Time Optimized Datafeed.
- BBG Enterprise Console: for managing feeds, certificates, and performance monitoring
- Proven knowledge of contributions systems: LSEG Real-Time Contributions (Contex)
- Deep knowledge of Market Data structure: and content across suppliers and technologies.
- Broad knowledge of IT services: and technologies related to Market Data delivery.
- Technical knowledge of automated software distribution: software packaging, and workstation build technologies including SCCM.
- Knowledge of project planning: resource and time management
- Demonstrable trading room knowledge
- An ability to quickly and logically resolve issues: within a Market Data environment.
- Experience with using incident ticketing systems: such as Azure Dev Ops
- Experience operating within a SCRUM agile framework
