For our client in Amsterdam, we are on the lookout for a talented Mobile Developer who specializes in Android and iOS.

We operate using Agile methodologies within DevOps squads that hold complete responsibility for their applications from A to Z. This means that feedback and rapid learning are critical components of your daily tasks. The Team

You will be part of a team responsible for developing and maintaining mobile applications and their backend. These applications serve as one of our main channels to connect with customers worldwide. The ideal candidate will possess strong knowledge and experience in designing, building, and maintaining native Android and iOS applications. Additionally, the team is tasked with managing and enhancing the mobile infrastructure, where back-end Java applications play a crucial role.

Profile (Desired Skills & Experience)

Expert in Android Development

Experience with iOS Development (Swift)

Experience with Back-End Development in Java and Spring Boot

Experience with Developing Secured and Authenticated REST APIs

Familiar with Containerized Solutions (OpenShift) and preferably familiar with Azure DevOps pipelines

Other Skills

Used to working in a DevOps environment (the team is responsible for their applications from start to decommission)

You are able to develop efficient and maintainable code with the right balance between solving the problem at hand and avoiding over-engineering your solution.

Experience in working in Agile/Scrum Teams

Excellent English Communication Skills, verbal as well as written

Demonstrated proactiveness and initiative

Commitment to Transparency and Open Collaboration

Results-Oriented Mindset with a strong focus on delivery

Working Conditions

This job role offers a balanced split between operational (run) and project (build) work, with a distribution of 75% operational and 25% project-related tasks. To minimize the impact on business operations, some changes may be scheduled outside of regular business hours.
