Job description
As a Senior DevOps Network Engineer with in-depth knowledge of Aruba SD-Branch solutions, you must be able to work in our dynamic team, but also work independently and actively search for answers and solutions in a complex technical enterprise environment. We expect you to actively work on the continuous improvement of our IT services by utilizing current and future solutions in our branches, datacentres, and the cloud. You will collaborate with other teams to build, maintain, test, and implement solutions for Rabobank.
We are specifically looking for experience with setting up Global support for LAN/WAN services, as our responsibility has been expanded from European to Global support. You will help us with your experience and insights, working together with the PO and Solution Engineer to create an efficient and stable LAN/WAN environment globally.
Our Department: The team Office Networks is globally responsible for the LAN/WAN management of Rabobank branches, in Europe (130 locations in The Netherlands and 9 throughout Europe). Additionally, we support operational teams in the Rabobank regions of North America, South America, Oceania, and Asia.
The Office Networks team consists of 15 members and is part of the larger networking departments, Distributed Networks and Datacenter Networks (~100 employees), working closely together with other Networking teams.
The Office Networking services are based on providing secure user and (I)OT connectivity on a global scale, utilizing the latest Aruba hardware and software. This includes techniques such as SD-WAN, SD-LAN, user identity and access management, and automation. Automation is key within Rabobank and the Office Networking team, which means that it is always considered from the ground up, providing our customers with fast and standardized services.
Working Hours: Work is mostly done during EU office hours. As our work spans the Rabobank network globally, there may be occasions where work needs to be done outside of EU office hours. On-call duty is also part of this position.

Requirements
Eisen: DevOps ITIL LAN/WAN Lean Six Sigma
Your Profile
• Educated to bachelor’s degree level, IT related
• High proficiency in speaking, reading and writing English
• Knowledge and experience with DevOps, Agile, Lean and ITIL
• You are highly sufficient and experienced in managing cloud based SD-LAN/WAN environments like Aruba SD-Branch
• You have in-depth networking knowledge on switching, routing and wireless solutions
• You are used to clearly document changes
• You have experience with Clearpass
• You are conceptually up to date on current and future developments in networking
• You are able to take the lead when the situation calls for it and are able to clearly communicate and substantiate your views and solutions to both internal relations and external parties such as vendors
• You have experience setting up and maintaining global LAN/WAN support and are able to advise and help implement improvements.
