Project Manager Automation & Security at KPN

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Technical Project Manager to lead both Security and Automation Framework activities within a strategic IMS Core network project. You will be responsible for coordinating all security validation deliverables and managing the integration and optimization of the Automation Framework. You will work closely with KPN, Nokia, and internal teams to ensure compliance, quality, and timely delivery of all project milestones.

Key Responsibilities

Automation Framework Scope

  • Coordinate PVM scanning of container images using Qualys within the Automation Framework.
  • Align security validation with CI/CD pipeline integration.
  • Support the development of hardening guidelines for automated components.
  • Facilitate collaboration between development teams and security stakeholders.

Security Scope

  • Manage deliverables including hardening, PEN testing, PVM scanning, RVIT evidence collection, and malware detection.
  • Ensure compliance with KSP security requirements and coordinate with KPN security stakeholders.
  • Oversee vulnerability management, including root cause analysis and mitigation planning.

Functie eisen

Your Profile

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT, Cybersecurity, Telecommunications, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in technical project management in security and/or automation.
  • Familiarity with vulnerability management tools (e.g., Qualys), PEN testing, and RVIT processes.
  • Experience with container technologies, CI/CD pipelines, and automation frameworks.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Working conditions: This job role offers a balanced split between operational (run) and project (build) work, with a distribution of 75% operational and 25% project-related tasks. To minimize the impact on business operations, some changes may be scheduled outside of regular business hours.
