Join Our Team as a Security/Pen Tester!
Imagine this: You rush into a shop at the central station. At checkout, you swipe your bank card, and it beeps with a message: "insufficient funds." In a flash, you grab your phone, log into the Rabobank app, and transfer money from your savings account to your payment account. All of this is made possible in a secure and safe environment—thanks to the rigorous security tests performed by dedicated professionals like you. You help identify vulnerabilities by testing our applications.
Your Role
As an experienced security tester or pen tester, you play a crucial role in conducting security tests and code reviews on (web) applications developed by or for the Rabobank. Your keen eye helps uncover vulnerabilities, which you promptly report to the relevant development teams. Furthermore, you offer valuable advice on how to remediate these findings.

Duration: 02-01-2026 - 31-12-2026 with an option for extension.
Language: English and preferably Dutch.
Location: Utrecht.
ZZP: Not allowed.

Requirements
Your Capabilities
- Secure Code Review: .NET, JAVA, React, AngularJS
- Infrastructure Security: Azure, AWS, Linux, Windows
- Network Testing
- Mobile Testing: iOS, Android
- Code-Scanning
- (Web) Application Testing
- DAST/SAST Tooling
- Certification (preferable): OSCP (or similar certifications)
- Languages: English and preferably Dutch
- Preferable Experience: Familiarity with the Agile Way-of-working
Competences/Skills
You should have a security mindset, an out-of-the-box way of thinking, and a dash of creativity. Your analytical skills will shine through, and you should be a strong communicator with excellent cooperation skills. Being organization-sensitive and pro-active will set you apart in this field!

This job role offers a balanced split between operational (run) and project (build) work, with a distribution of 75% operational and 25% project-related tasks. To minimize the impact on business operations, some changes may be scheduled outside of regular business hours.
