Functie omschrijving

Hey there! Rabobank in Utrecht is on the hunt for a super dynamic and innovative Business Analyst to jump into the IDP OnPrem team. This is a seriously key role in a growing IT ecosystem, where you'll be managing our on-premise identity infrastructure – basically, the heart of secure authentication and authorization across the entire bank.

You’ll be working closely with an Architect and Product Owner, acting as the crucial link between the team and the wider organization. Our big goal? To deliver identity services that are not only secure and compliant but also highly automated, all while sticking to Rabobank’s “In Control” principles and ticking all the regulatory boxes.

Our team is a solid crew of about 6 DevOps engineers, a Product Owner, Solution Architect, and Scrum Master. We own the entire lifecycle of the on-prem IDP platform, from its initial design and implementation right through to keeping it running smoothly and constantly making it better.

We’re looking for a Business Analyst with a solid technical foundation in Active Directory and related services. You should be someone who naturally gravitates towards automation and compliance, takes real ownership, isn't afraid to question the way things are done, and is always looking for ways to improve processes and tools.

Here's what you'll be getting up to:

  • Figuring out how IT changes will affect the business, creating solid adoption plans, and seeing them through.
  • Translating complex technical stuff into clear communication that works for everyone, from top brass to the ground floor.
  • Planning and managing all those important communications.
  • Championing automation and standardization like a pro.
  • Making sure the business goals and the technical solutions are perfectly in sync.
  • Supporting the Product Owner and the squad with backlog management and refinement.
  • Helping the team nail those “in control” items by translating business and regulatory needs into action.

What we're really after is curious minds who are passionate about IAM, technology, and growing their skills. We need someone at a medium/senior level who can dive deep to define business or technical challenges, gathering all the necessary technical and non-technical info. You'll be guiding the team with your experience and making a real impact every single day.

Must-haves:

  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst, specifically within IAM.
  • Awesome stakeholder management and requirements gathering skills.
  • Experience designing, developing, and implementing workflows.
  • A proactive can-do attitude!

The nitty-gritty:

  • We're looking for one full-time equivalent (1FTE).
  • If we get a lot of great applications, we might close the role early, so don't wait too long!
  • Please be sure to mention in your motivation if the candidate has any planned vacations or special leave during the assignment period.
  • Also, please clearly indicate on the CV if we can request an internal reference. If the candidate has worked at Rabobank before, please let us know the name and job title of their previous team lead.
  • This is a 36-40 hours per week role.
  • You'll be working in English (and Dutch).
  • Duration: ASAP until April 30, 2027, with potential for extension.
  • Location: Utrecht.
  • Important: This role is not open to ZZP (freelance) applications.
  • Submissions are welcome until: May 13, 2026, 06:00.
