We're building an Enterprise Repository designed to connect information from all across the bank. Our goal is to transform this data into insights and products that are reliable, reusable, and actionable. These products will bring together details about our business processes, applications, technology assets, controls, risks, assessments, and configuration management. By making the relationships and dependencies between these elements clear, the Enterprise Repository will empower better decision-making, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive transformation throughout the bank.

As a Business Analyst for the Enterprise Repository, you'll be instrumental in turning this vision into tangible data products. You'll define how data should be structured, linked, governed, shared, and used. Plus, you'll guide our delivery teams in designing and creating these data products, making sure they align with the bank’s data standards, architectural principles, and approved tools.

You'll be working within a multidisciplinary team, collaborating closely with Product Owners, business stakeholders, Business Architects, Tech Leads, and Data Engineers, all as part of a DevOps team. Together, you'll transform business and regulatory needs into scalable, secure, and compliant data solutions that can be easily maintained and reused across the entire bank.

Your Impact

The Enterprise Repository is more than just a place to store information; it's a strategic data capability. It will enable stakeholders to understand dependencies, assess the impact of changes, demonstrate control and compliance, and explore different transformation scenarios. Your contributions will be key to ensuring the Enterprise Repository becomes a trusted and effective tool for the bank.

Key Responsibilities

• Translate the Enterprise Repository vision and business/regulatory requirements into clear requirements and use cases.
• Support the integration of domain models, canonical data models, metadata, taxonomies, and relationships within the Enterprise Repository.
• Contribute to the design and realization of the Enterprise Repository, providing insights into processes, applications, assets, controls, risks, assessments, and their dependencies.
• Analyze the impact and implement taxonomies for the Enterprise Repository, such as IT and Business Process Taxonomies.
• Investigate data quality issues and provide guidance on their impact and implementation within the Enterprise Repository.
• Ensure the Enterprise Repository meets the bank’s requirements for data quality, security, privacy, lineage, ownership, access, retention, and auditability.
• Contribute to the implementation and rollout strategy of the Enterprise Repository.
• Collaborate with data owners, data stewards, and product owners to establish clear accountability, service levels, and measurable quality criteria.
• Support impact analysis, dependency management, scenario modeling, and "what-if" analysis by ensuring data and relationships are consistently modeled and accessible.

Collaboration

You'll bridge the gap between business understanding and hands-on delivery. You'll be adept at explaining data concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences, fostering alignment, and constructively engaging with the DevOps team.

Must-Have Experience

• At least 2 years in a role like Business Analyst, Information Analyst, or Process Analyst.
• You know how to manage stakeholders in both business and tech worlds.
• You're great at taking business needs and turning them into workable solutions.
• You can break down objectives into clear, actionable backlog items.
• You've got strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent English communication skills are a must.
• Experience working in Agile environments is key.

Preferred Expertise

• Familiarity with the concept of an Enterprise Repository or something similar.
• Experience with ITIL and IT Service Management practices.
• Understanding of Configuration Management and CMDB concepts.
• Knowledge of Data Governance and Data Quality Management.
• Experience with Azure Data & Analytics platforms.
• Hands-on experience with ITSM platforms like Halo, ServiceNow, BMC, or similar.
• Experience with governance, compliance, and audit-related tasks.

Working conditions: This job role offers a balanced split between operational (run) and project (build) work, with a distribution of 75% operational and 25% project-related tasks. To minimize the impact on business operations, some changes may be scheduled outside of regular business hours.
