Your Role:
Data and AI are rapidly becoming the backbone of how we create value, deliver services, and make crucial decisions. To really accelerate this transformation, we're expanding our Data & Analytics architecture team. We're looking for talented Business Architects who can help us design and implement the next generation of our enterprise data and AI capabilities. We need architects who blend a strong business understanding with in-depth knowledge of data, AI, and analytics – and who genuinely enjoy making complex challenges clear and manageable.
Your Impact:
As a Business Architect in our Data & Analytics domain, you'll be instrumental in:
- Defining the target architectures for your area, working closely with domain and enterprise architects to ensure alignment.
- Guiding teams to adopt enterprise standards and modern technologies, establishing and applying standardized architecture patterns.
- Leading and steering as part of the area leadership team, providing a strong architectural vision and roadmap to support product delivery.
- Ensuring our data and AI products are scalable, compliant, and deliver tangible business value.
Choose Your Specialization:
We're looking to strengthen several key areas and will tailor the exact role to your unique expertise and career aspirations. You can make a significant impact in one or more of these specializations:
- AI-ready Data & Data Product Automation: Dive into automating data product creation, transforming unstructured data into AI-ready formats, and shifting from traditional dataset provisioning to modern API-based and streaming patterns.
- Data as a Product: Apply product thinking to our data offerings, simplifying and standardizing how we access, share, and manage data. Ensure data is trusted, discoverable, and easy to use, translating these principles into concrete enterprise-level implementation standards.
- Advanced Analytics Products: Focus on building reusable analytics solutions, including machine learning models and (generative) AI applications. This involves strong technological components like knowledge graphs for entity resolution and grounding AI agents, but also a deep understanding of how AI can revolutionize business processes and how to govern AI responsibly for scalable implementation.
Depending on your background and strengths, you'll step into the role of Area Architect within the most fitting specialization. You'll coach and mentor Solution Architects within your area, collectively shaping the area's vision, executing the architecture strategy and roadmaps, and contributing to our overall purpose. We encourage a mindset of courage – challenging the status quo and developing yourself even when mistakes happen. The key is learning and growing from every experience.
With your experience, insights, and skills, you'll make a substantial contribution to our business users, empowering them to unlock data-driven value faster and more effectively.

- Craft and communicate a clear architecture vision for AI-ready data products, ensuring alignment with business stakeholders, architects, and the Global Data Management Chapter.
- Collaborate with Business Architects across the bank to shape a future-proof data and AI platform.
- Mentor and coach a team of Solution Architects within your designated area.

Working conditions: This job role offers a balanced split between operational (run) and project (build) work, with a distribution of 75% operational and 25% project-related tasks. To minimize the impact on business operations, some changes may be scheduled outside of regular business hours.
