We're on the lookout for a Business Architect Data & Analytics to step into the role of Area Architect for Enterprise Data Products within Tribe D&A Products & Transformation. Your mission? To define and drive the target architecture for this area, making sure it perfectly aligns with our product vision and business needs.
The Area Enterprise Data Products is all about simplifying and standardizing our data landscape. We're strengthening the foundation needed for scalable (Agentic) AI. Here's what we do:
- Build enterprise-wide data products: We develop and maintain a strategically aligned portfolio of domain-agnostic data products and a shared enterprise data ontology. This ensures consistency, promotes reuse, and drives scalability across the entire bank.
- Enable AI at scale: We partner with business domains to create AI-ready data products. These products deliver relevant, contextualized data for advanced AI use cases (including Agentic AI), utilizing technologies like knowledge graphs and the Model Context Protocol (MCP).
- Automate and standardize data product delivery: Working closely with platform teams, we industrialize data product creation through automation, computational governance, and enterprise data product implementation standards.
As the Area Architect, you'll lead this area alongside the Area Lead and Tech Lead. You'll be collaborating closely with the solution architects within the area, aligning on the area vision, realizing the architecture strategy & roadmaps, and contributing to our purpose. Your role is to guide the teams toward achieving the best results within a future-proof architecture, keeping each other sharp and supporting each other along the way.
Your impact
As a Business Architect in our Data & Analytics domain, you'll:
- Define and communicate the strategic direction for data products and AI-ready data, leading to faster delivery of high-quality, reusable data assets across the bank.
- Lead and coach a team of solution architects, ensuring they're aligned on vision, architecture standards, and delivering future-proof solutions.
- Take a leadership role within the area leadership team, supporting product delivery with a strong architecture vision and roadmap.
- Ensure our data and AI products are scalable, compliant, and genuinely delivering business value.
- Translate emerging market developments and innovations into strategic architecture direction and tangible business value for Rabobank.
Practical examples:
- Create and communicate an architecture vision for data products supporting AI-ready data, ensuring alignment with business stakeholders, architects, and the Chapter Global Data Management.
- Collaborate with business architects across the bank to shape a shared enterprise data ontology.
- Mentor and coach a team of solution architects within your area.

Together, we'll define the architecture direction for the Global Data & Analytics Platform and D&A Products & Transformation. Working conditions: This job role offers a balanced split between operational (run) and project (build) work, with a distribution of 75% operational and 25% project-related tasks. To minimize the impact on business operations, some changes may be scheduled outside of regular business hours.
