About You and Your Role
As a Senior Insights Data Scientist, you're a bit of a data wizard, capable of turning complex Transaction Monitoring data into actionable insights and solutions that are ready for production. You'll be part of Squad Metis, where you'll blend advanced analytics, software development, and business know-how. Your mission? To build automated solutions that empower your colleagues to assess and optimize Transaction Monitoring rules, ultimately leading to smarter, data-driven decisions.
What You'll Be Doing (Practical Examples)
- Develop analytical models and decision logic to pinpoint which customer segments, parameters, or rules need the most attention for tuning.
- Translate the intricacies of Above-the-Line and Below-the-Line tuning processes into data-driven recommendations and robust analytical solutions.
- Build production-ready dashboards and decision-support tools that make complex insights easily understandable for all stakeholders.

- Build and enhance analytical pipelines that automate rule tuning and enable scalable, multi-parameter analysis.
- Deliver end-to-end analytical projects, from grasping business questions to presenting clear, impactful recommendations to stakeholders.
- Design and develop production-ready dashboards and analytical products to streamline automated tuning and investigation workflows.
You'll be collaborating closely with stakeholders across Business, Technology, and Operations. Together, you'll develop analytical capabilities that boost the efficiency, effectiveness, and scalability of our Transaction Monitoring efforts.

Functie Eisen
You've got a strong background in technical fields with a Master's degree, that's fantastic! It sounds like you've been diving deep into data analysis for over 7 years, really getting your hands dirty with Python. It's great that you're also comfortable with tools like PySpark, Databricks, and Power BI – that really opens up a lot of possibilities.
Building those complete solutions, from repositories and version control all the way through pipelines and testing, shows a real commitment to robust and reliable work. And that skill of figuring out the core problem behind a request, then presenting your insights clearly and persuasively? That's invaluable.
Plus, you have experience mentoring and guiding junior and mid-level colleagues, sharing your technical vision. That kind of leadership is so important for a team's growth and success.

Working conditions: This job role offers a balanced split between operational (run) and project (build) work, with a distribution of 75% operational and 25% project-related tasks. To minimize the impact on business operations, some changes may be scheduled outside of regular business hours.
