Ready to make a real difference? Rabobank is looking for a talented Medior/Senior Data Analyst to join their purpose-driven Transaction Monitoring team in Utrecht!

What you'll be doing:

  • Developing and maintaining cutting-edge information solutions and dashboards for Transaction Monitoring, ensuring they're compliant and built for the future.
  • Becoming a go-to person for creating a single source of truth with BI products that offer clear, efficient, and reliable information to the business.
  • Navigating a dynamic and complex environment driven by regulations and innovation.
  • Using your seniority to guide and support your teammates, helping them build top-notch data solutions that align with the Data & Insights vision for Financial Economic Crime (FEC).
  • Actively sharing your knowledge, especially in stakeholder management, defining requirements, anticipating business needs, and identifying potential risks before they become issues.
  • Collaborating within a Scrum framework to deliver valuable data solutions.

Your impact will include:

  • Building future-proof dashboards and data solutions that directly address business needs.
  • Diving into explorative data analysis to uncover valuable insights.
  • Streamlining and improving existing dashboards to boost efficiency.
  • Bringing a broad vision for data products and BI solutions.
  • Translating complex business questions into practical, sustainable solutions.

In this role, you'll also:

  • Translate business needs into clear development requirements and deliver solid BI solutions.
  • Ensure ongoing maintenance and development of squad data products, keeping them future-proof and compliant.
  • Guide and influence team members, sharing your expertise and aligning with the Area vision.
  • Develop and maintain essential data and BI products within the squad.
  • Champion quality, compliance, and the future-readiness of all data solutions.
  • Engage actively with stakeholders to gather and refine requirements.

You'll be part of a collaborative, multidisciplinary Scrum team within the FEC domain, working together to deliver impactful data solutions. Here’s what we’re looking for from you:

  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, maybe in Data, IT, or something similar.
  • You’ve got solid experience with Power BI, DAX, and SQL under your belt.
  • Bonus points if you’ve also worked with Databricks, Azure Repositories, and Git.
  • You’re comfortable with gathering and analyzing requirements.
  • Experience in Agile/Scrum settings is key.
  • You have a sharp, analytical mind, love exploring data, and can grasp complex subjects quickly.
  • You’re results-driven, proactive, and bring that awesome “can-do” attitude!
  • We value your creativity – someone who isn’t afraid to question things and bring fresh ideas to the table.
  • Excellent English communication skills are a must (Dutch is a nice-to-have!).

Regarding experience level, we're considering:

Medior:

  • At least 3 years of relevant experience
  • Scale 8

Senior:

  • At least 5 years of relevant experience
  • Scale 9

Working conditions: This job role offers a balanced split between operational (run) and project (build) work, with a distribution of 75% operational and 25% project-related tasks. To minimize the impact on business operations, some changes may be scheduled outside of regular business hours.
