You & Your Role

As a Data Issue Coordinator, you're a crucial player in tackling data quality issues and driving data management projects. Your main goal is to ensure our data is top-notch – accurate, reliable, and compliant. This means you'll own data issues from start to finish. You'll manage and prioritize the backlog of issues, work with stakeholders to dig into the root causes, and guide them in fixing these problems themselves. You'll keep everyone in the loop and spot connections between issues to make things better long-term. Plus, you'll be a go-to partner for data producers, providers, and consumers on data implementation projects. With your experience, you'll handle cross-domain data issues, mentor colleagues on best practices, and proactively improve processes and data governance. For instance, you'll simplify our data issue guidance to encourage more issues to be reported by our tribes. You'll be part of the Data Management Finance & Risk team, directly supporting the tribes within the Finance & Risk Domain.

Examples of Projects and Activities

  • You'll connect data producers with the reporting team to quickly resolve a data issue that impacted our annual report.
  • You'll work on streamlining our data issue guidance and processes to boost the quality of issues raised by our tribes and speed up their resolution.
  • You'll identify big-picture problems by grouping several of your own and your colleagues' issues into one manageable package.
  • You'll design and implement a process flow to better align data quality monitoring with data issue management.
  • You'll proactively initiate improvements in data management processes, planning and coordinating their rollout with a cross-functional team.

Facts & Figures

  • You'll join a team of 27 data management professionals, with 6 focusing on data issue management.
  • Rabobank has over 48,000 colleagues worldwide.

Top 3 Responsibilities

  • Coordinating Data Issues for Improved Data Quality: Analyze data issues, identify the right owner within the bank, and ensure all involved parties understand their roles in successfully resolving the issue.
  • Engaging Stakeholders: Mobilize people across the bank to collaborate on resolving issues within existing guidelines and timelines. For improvement projects, secure stakeholder buy-in by presenting a clear purpose and roadmap.
  • Fostering Collaboration for Structural Improvements: Act as the central point of contact within Finance and Risk, empowering tribes to gain control over data management. For bank-wide improvement projects, partner with stakeholders at all levels to implement lasting improvements in both processes and systems.

Together We Achieve More Than Alone

We believe in the strength of diversity. By bringing together different perspectives, we become an even better bank. We're excited to see what you'll bring to our Data Management Finance & Risk team. This team is dedicated to managing and enhancing data management within Rabobank’s Finance and Risk tribes. Collaboration is our core principle, as we aim to increase the value of our data for the bank by improving its quality and reliability.
