You & your role
As the Data Issue Coordinator, you'll play a crucial role in resolving data quality issues and contributing to data management projects. Your main goal is to ensure our data is accurate, reliable, and compliant. This means you'll take ownership of data issues, prioritize the backlog, and work with stakeholders to understand the root causes. You'll guide them through the resolution process, keeping everyone aligned and identifying connections between issues to drive long-term improvements.
You'll also be a key partner in data implementation projects, supporting data producers, providers, and consumers. With your experience, you'll tackle cross-domain data issues, mentor colleagues on best practices, and proactively improve processes and data governance. For instance, you might simplify our data issue guidance to encourage more issues to be reported by our tribes. You'll be part of the Data Management Finance & Risk team, directly assisting the tribes within the Finance & Risk Domain.
Examples of projects and activities
- Liaising with data producers and the reporting team to ensure a data issue affecting our annual report is resolved promptly.
- Working on simplifying our data issue guidance and processes to improve the quality of issues raised by our tribes and speed up their resolution.
- Identifying overarching problems by grouping several related issues (yours and your colleagues') into a single, manageable package.
- Designing and implementing a process flow to enhance the alignment between data quality monitoring and data issue management.
- Proactively initiating data management process improvements, planning and coordinating their implementation with a cross-functional team.
Facts & figures
- You'll join a team of 27 data management professionals, with 6 focusing specifically on data issue management.
- Rabobank has over 48,000 colleagues worldwide.
Top 3 responsibilities
- Coordinating data issues for improved data quality: Analyze data issues, identify the appropriate owner within the bank, and ensure all involved parties understand their roles in achieving successful resolution.
- Engaging stakeholders: Mobilize people across the bank to collaborate on resolving issues within existing guidelines and timelines. For improvement projects, secure stakeholder buy-in by clearly communicating the purpose and roadmap.
- Fostering collaboration for structural improvements: Act as a central point of contact within Finance and Risk, empowering tribes to gain control over data management. For bank-wide improvement projects, collaborate with stakeholders at all levels to implement structural enhancements in both processes and systems.
Together we achieve more than alone
We truly believe in the strength of diversity. By combining different perspectives, we become a better bank. We're excited to see what you'll bring to our Data Management Finance & Risk team. This team is dedicated to managing and enhancing data management within Rabobank’s Finance and Risk tribes. Collaboration is our core working method, as we aim to increase the value of our data for the bank by improving its quality and reliability.
Work on yourself & the world around you
We believe that your development and the development of society go hand in hand. That's why we invest in you and work together to create a better world. At Rabobank, you'll grow both personally and contribute to broader societal goals simultaneously.
This commitment is reflected in your personal development budget, our hybrid work environment, and a healthy work-life balance. You'll contribute to banking solutions for our clients while also addressing social challenges like the food and energy transitions.
