You and your role

As a Medior Data Scientist, you'll dive into designing, developing, and deploying cutting-edge Generative AI solutions that bring serious value to our customers. You'll be right at the heart of creating AI-powered systems to tackle tough challenges, streamline operations, and uncover new possibilities. We're looking for someone who loves digging into data, working with generative models, and building solutions that are both scalable and responsible. You'll be part of a squad focused on boosting GenAI adoption across various parts of the bank, co-creating solutions with stakeholders along the way.

You and your talent

Technical skills and experience:

• You've got at least 3 or more years of experience as a Data Scientist or in a similar role – that's fantastic!
• You're a whiz with programming, especially Python, and bonus points if you have software engineering experience!
• You know how to write clean, reusable code that makes life easier for everyone.
• You have a knack for product thinking, turning business challenges into data science solutions, and you focus on what truly makes an impact without overcomplicating things.
• You have a solid grasp of NLP and LLMs. If you've built Generative AI applications, that's a huge plus and we'd love to see it!
• You're experienced in developing, evaluating, deploying, and monitoring models, and you're comfortable with LLMOps/MLOps/DevOps practices in real-world production environments (especially in the cloud).
• This role is all about the sweet spot where Data Science, Generative AI, and Engineering meet! So, strong engineering skills are super valuable. Think experience with Git, CI/CD, ETL, cloud platforms like Azure (or similar), building and integrating APIs, containerization, and working with both relational and vector databases.

• You're naturally curious and have experience working closely with customers.
• You get a kick out of understanding business needs and translating them into the awesome technical solutions you'll be building.
• You're a great communicator, able to break down complex ideas and build trust across different teams.
• You're passionate about creating solutions that are clean, well-organized, easy to maintain, and thoroughly tested.
• You thrive in collaborative, cross-functional teams (including Engineering, Product, and Business folks) and enjoy building connections across different squads.
• You have experience leading tech projects, mentoring others, sharing your knowledge, and championing best practices.

Working conditions: This job role offers a balanced split between operational (run) and project (build) work, with a distribution of 75% operational and 25% project-related tasks. To minimize the impact on business operations, some changes may be scheduled outside of regular business hours.
