We're specifically looking for a back-end developer – a quick-thinking, skilled engineer ready to build a future-proof world for our Gen Z audience.
You & Your Role
As a back-end developer within Personal Financial Management (PFM), you'll be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining the essential back-end services that power our personal finance features. You'll create scalable and reliable solutions that empower customers to understand their finances, manage them effectively, and make well-informed financial decisions. You'll work closely with front-end engineers, product owners, designers, and other development teams to deliver smooth, end-to-end customer experiences and constantly enhance our financial products.

You & Your Talent
You're a back-end developer who enjoys responding quickly and is adept at leveraging existing solutions. You possess excellent communication skills, enabling you to align with core experience platform and front-end foundation developers, as well as other developers, architects, and product owners, to uncover all necessary use cases. By considering how your design choices impact various contexts, you aim to create flexible, future-proof APIs. Ideally, you've already developed a good sense for when abstractions are beneficial and when they might lead to over-engineering.

We're looking for someone with senior-level experience, bringing over 5 years of hands-on work in developing complex software solutions within a platform environment. It's super important that you have a knack for creating scalable, framework-independent solutions and a deep understanding of browser APIs.
Our squad really needs some awesome Java experts! The focus is on building scalable, framework-independent solutions, and we're particularly keen on extensive knowledge of microservices and APIs.
Having a solid grasp of Java and GraphQL would be a big plus!
And of course, you should feel really comfortable and confident in creating scalable solutions.

Working conditions: This job role offers a balanced split between operational (run) and project (build) work, with a distribution of 75% operational and 25% project-related tasks. To minimize the impact on business operations, some changes may be scheduled outside of regular business hours.
