Functie omschrijving

Hey there! We're the KPN Logfile Management (LFM) team, and we're all about building and running the systems that handle massive amounts of logs and metrics. Think of us as the backbone of KPN's Data Services Hub, making sure everything flows smoothly. Our work is super important, serving both folks outside KPN and our own teams, helping them with security (like SIEM), keeping an eye on things (observability), and making sure we're compliant. These are 24/7 services, and guess what? We run everything we build ourselves. So, if you're an engineer who truly *gets* operations and puts reliability first, you'll fit right in! Your main gig will be running the LFM tools, ensuring our critical services are always up and running, making our operations even better, nailing our monitoring and CI/CD, and keeping things super tight to meet our certifications.

You'll get to dive into:

  • Running our log and metrics pipelines as a top-notch service for our customers – that means focusing on reliability, jumping into incident response, automating like a champ, and always looking for ways to make things better.
  • Getting hands-on with the awesome Grafana LGTM stack (Loki, Grafana, Tempo, Mimir) every single day. You'll use it for monitoring, figuring out what's going on, and setting up alerts, with Grafana being your go-to dashboard for everything.
  • Making our operations even more epic by improving our processes, monitoring, alerting, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Helping us keep our compliance game strong with standards like ISAE 3000 and SOC2.
  • Owning the entire journey of what you deploy – from putting it out there to running it smoothly and making it even better.

Just a heads-up, the deadline to send in your CV for this role is July 28, 2026, by 10:00 AM.
