You & Your Position

Here at Rabobank, the Identity & Access Management (IAM) team is in charge of all identities and access permissions across our global network. Within the Identity Provider (IDP) domain, we manage our on-premise identity infrastructure, which is absolutely critical for secure authentication and authorization throughout the bank.

Our goal is to deliver identity services that are secure, compliant, and highly automated, all while sticking to Rabobank’s “In Control” principles and meeting regulatory demands.

The team is made up of about 8 skilled DevOps engineers. We collectively own the entire lifecycle of the on-prem IDP platform, from its initial design and implementation all the way through to ongoing operational management and continuous improvement.

We're looking for a DevOps Engineer with a solid technical foundation in Active Directory and its related services. You should be proactive about automation, compliance, and security hardening. Taking ownership, questioning the current way of doing things, and constantly refining processes and tooling are key traits we value.

Top 3 Responsibilities

  • Managing the lifecycle and operations of on-prem identity platforms, which includes:
    • Active Directory (AD)
    • Active Directory Certificate Services (AD CS)
    • Group Policy and configuration management tooling
    • Active Directory backup and recovery tooling
    • Password protection and auditing tooling
  • Driving automation and standardization using tools like:
    • Ansible (for configuration & deployment)
    • Azure DevOps Pipelines (for CI/CD)
  • Ensuring compliance (“In Control”) and security by:
    • Implementing and maintaining auditability, controls, and policies
    • Aligning with internal security standards and external regulatory requirements

Together We Achieve More

We strongly believe in the power of diversity. By embracing and combining our individual differences, our team becomes stronger and more effective.

Our department sits at the very core of Rabobank's IT infrastructure. We ensure that the right colleagues get the right access to the right applications, at the right time, and for the right reasons. As the IDP team, we are the guardians of Rabobank’s most valuable credentials and identities.

The 220 employees in the Identity & Access Management department work collaboratively as a single, solution-oriented team, dedicated to providing secure and seamless IAM services.
