You're a seasoned DevOps Engineer with a deep understanding of One Identity and Identity Governance & Administration. Your expertise shines in analyzing, fixing, enhancing, and automating IAM services, especially in complex, regulated environments. You bring a blend of strong engineering skills and a solid grasp of control effectiveness, documentation, and making services better over time.
As a Senior DevOps Engineer for Control Automation, you'll be instrumental in making our current IGA services more effective, easier to control, and more scalable. You won't just be building and maintaining IAM solutions; you'll also be crucial in structurally addressing control weaknesses and automating service and control tasks. Your role will help shift our team from just reacting to control issues to consistently and reliably delivering compliant IAM services.
About You and Your Role
Identity & Access Management is super important for us at Rabobank, ensuring our employees and systems have secure, straightforward, and controlled access to the resources they need. Within the IAM Tribe, our Control Automation 4 Employees squad focuses on developing and maintaining the IAM capabilities in One Identity that handle the secure provisioning, modification, and removal of access for Rabobank employees.
As a Senior One Identity DevOps Engineer, you'll be part of the IAM4Employees Area, directly contributing to fixing and improving our existing IGA services in One Identity. You'll concentrate on boosting service quality, cutting down manual work, strengthening control effectiveness, and enabling automation that supports both user-friendly IAM experiences and predictable control execution.
You'll collaborate closely with Product Owners, Business Analysts from the Control Execution & Automation team, IAM Risk & Compliance specialists, and your fellow engineers. Your goal will be to make sure that control findings and service weaknesses are turned into lasting improvements within the squad's backlog. You understand that great IAM services aren't just about functionality; they also need to be controllable, traceable, and ready for automation.
This isn't your typical DevOps engineering job. It's a senior role where you'll combine service remediation, technical improvements, and control automation within a highly regulated setting. You'll help mature our squad by introducing more sustainable engineering practices, enhancing how we document and monitor, and reducing repetitive manual tasks in both service delivery and control execution.
Achieving Results
- You'll fix existing One Identity services and configurations to improve control effectiveness, service stability, and readiness for audits.
- You'll automate manual service and control-related tasks whenever possible to boost efficiency, consistency, and traceability.
- You'll translate control findings, operational issues, and technical risks into sustainable engineering enhancements.
- You'll improve the quality of documentation, monitoring, and technical evidence for IAM services that are part of control execution.
- You'll contribute to scalable and reusable engineering patterns within the One Identity environment.
Top 3 Responsibilities
- You'll design and implement structural improvements in One Identity services to fix deficiencies and enhance the effectiveness of IAM controls.
- You'll lead the automation of service and control-related activities to reduce manual effort and increase consistency, traceability, and control maturity.
- You'll work with Product Owners, Business Analysts, and fellow engineers to turn findings into technically sound solutions ready for the backlog, which can be integrated into the squad's workflow.
Continuous Improvement
For you, continuous improvement is a given. You'll critically examine current processes, technical approaches, and manual workarounds, actively contributing to making IAM services more robust, scalable, and controllable. You'll take ownership of quality, understanding that sustainable IAM delivery requires not only functional solutions but also effective control design, technical clarity, and automation.
Together, We Achieve More
I truly believe in the power of diversity. Bringing together different perspectives makes us a stronger bank. So, I'm really eager to hear what you can bring to our team.
Working in Tribe IAM means being part of a department that's fundamental to the bank's operations, security, and risk management. We have a significant agenda for change aimed at improving IAM in a secure, scalable, and user-friendly way. In this role, you'll make a vital contribution by strengthening our current One Identity services, improving control effectiveness, and helping to automate the path from identifying an issue to its sustainable resolution.
