Hey there! Are you up for a seriously cool challenge in our TechHub Network & Security, specifically within the DevSecOps High Secure Platform department? This is where security is baked into everything we do, not just an add-on. We're building services that make a massive difference across the entire Netherlands – talk about impactful work!

You'll be joining a vibrant team of about 15 dedicated pros. Together, we own the whole shebang, from hardware to applications, developing and managing everything with top-notch security in mind.

For the DevOps Engineer role, we're on the hunt for someone who:

We're working full-time at our KPN location in Apeldoorn, where the data center is also housed. Because this building will be closing in 2026, your work location will shift during the assignment to our offices in Arnhem or Ede.

• Hours: 32-40 hours per week

Functie eisen

We're on the hunt for a seasoned pro with at least 5 years of stellar experience as a DevOps Engineer, Technical Administrator, or a similar gig. You'll need to be someone who thrives on taking the reins, managing both development and operational tasks independently within a complex, high-stakes environment. Security is absolutely paramount, so a deep understanding and practical application of DevOps principles are essential.

Ideally, you'll have a solid grasp and hands-on experience with:

• Linux (think RHEL/Debian)
• Ansible
• Gitlab
• Proxmox/CEPH

And hey, if you've also got a knack for networking – routing, switching, firewalls – that's a fantastic bonus!

So, about the job itself, you'll be doing a mix of day-to-day operations and exciting projects – think 75% operational stuff and 25% building new things. To keep things running smoothly, some tasks might happen after regular hours. Sound good?
