Your Role: Senior Insights Data Scientist

You're someone who truly understands how to unlock the potential within complex Transaction Monitoring data, turning it into practical solutions that can be used in the real world. As part of Squad Metis, you'll blend your skills in advanced analytics, software development, and business know-how. Your mission? To build automated tools that empower your colleagues to fine-tune Transaction Monitoring rules and make sharper, data-backed decisions.

What You'll Be Doing (Examples):

• Developing analytical models and decision logic to pinpoint which customer groups, parameters, or rules need the most attention for optimization.
• Translating the "Above-the-Line" and "Below-the-Line" tuning processes into clear, data-driven recommendations and analytical solutions.
• Creating production-ready dashboards and decision-support tools that make complex insights easy for everyone to understand.

• This is a 36-hour per week position.
• You'll be working with transaction data from over 9.5 million customers.

Your Top 3 Responsibilities:

• Building and enhancing analytical pipelines that automate rule tuning and support large-scale, multi-parameter analysis.
• Leading end-to-end analytical projects, from understanding business needs to presenting clear, actionable recommendations to stakeholders.
• Designing and developing production-ready dashboards and analytical products to streamline automated tuning and investigation workflows.

You'll be working closely with colleagues across Business, Technology, and Operations. Together, you'll build analytical capabilities that make Transaction Monitoring more efficient, effective, and scalable.

Functie Eisen

Here's what we're looking for in you:

• A master’s degree in a technical field.
• Over 7 years of hands-on experience with data analysis using Python.
• Familiarity and practical experience with PySpark, Databricks, and Power BI.
• Proven experience in developing complete end-to-end solutions, including working with repositories, version control, pipelines, and testing frameworks.
• A knack for digging into requests to understand the core issue and being able to clearly present your recommendations.
• Experience mentoring junior and mid-level team members, and sharing your technical insights and vision.

Working conditions: This job role offers a balanced split between operational (run) and project (build) work, with a distribution of 75% operational and 25% project-related tasks. To minimize the impact on business operations, some changes may be scheduled outside of regular business hours.
