Hey there! We're on the hunt for a talented Network & Security Engineer for our client based in beautiful Amsterdam. If you're a whiz with Palo Alto (Panorama) and F5 LTM/GTM, we'd love to hear from you!
In this role, you'll be the go-to person for building and keeping our client's network and application delivery solutions super secure and scalable, especially within their hybrid infrastructure. You'll be a key player in IPC migrations, supporting Lifecycle Management (LCM) projects, and rolling out new features. The goal is always to keep things compliant with standards, working smoothly within Agile methodologies, and maintaining top-notch operational stability. We know how important that is!
You'll get hands-on with:
- Setting up Palo Alto firewall configurations using both the Panorama GUI and CLI – think policies, NAT, and zones.
- Managing Infoblox IPAM for IP allocation, subnet management, and DNS updates.
- Configuring F5 LTM/GTM, including VIPs, pools, pool members, health monitors, and iRules for smart traffic steering and persistence.
- Implementing VPN (site-to-site) and leased line connectivity.
- Designing and enforcing router ACLs to keep segmentation tight and traffic flowing just right.
- Providing crucial support for LCM projects by implementing all the necessary network and security tweaks.
- Delivering exciting new functionality, like setting up new VIPs, routing configurations, and boosting security.
- Supporting IPC migrations by ensuring end-to-end connectivity and security are spot on.
We're all about Agile (Scrum) here, so you'll be diving into sprint planning, daily stand-ups, refinements, and retrospectives. You'll also be managing and tracking your work using the Azure DevOps backlog (user stories, tasks, and change-related activities). Coordinating implementation activities through ServiceNow (SNOW) will be key for change management and getting those all-important approvals. It's all about making sure your work in the backlog lines up perfectly with our controlled change execution processes.
Keeping our runbooks up-to-date and ensuring documentation is audit-compliant after every change is super important. We also need to make sure there's clear traceability between your Azure DevOps backlog items and your ServiceNow change records.
You'll also be involved in supporting incident resolution and contributing your insights to root cause analysis. We value your input in making things better!
