We're on the hunt for a talented Platform Engineer who's a whiz with IT Infrastructure and Private Cloud tech. In this role, you'll be crafting, rolling out, and keeping up the essential infrastructure that keeps our business humming. You'll team up with development, operations, and security folks to make sure our environment is always running smoothly, can grow with us, is automated, and super secure.

What you'll be doing day-to-day:

Infrastructure Design and Implementation:

• Dream up and launch Windows-based infrastructure solutions.
• Build automation scripts for deployments (think Infra as code!), monitoring, and general upkeep.
• Make sure we've got top-notch high availability and disaster recovery plans in place.

System Administration:

• Keep our virtualization platforms and servers in tip-top shape, handling updates, patches, and security configurations.
• Handle infrastructure coding like a pro.
• Keep an eye on system performance and jump in to fix any glitches that pop up.
• Ensure we're always playing by the company's rules and industry best practices.

Automation and Scripting:

• Whip up and maintain PowerShell scripts to automate those everyday tasks.
• Bring Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to life using tools like Ansible.
• Streamline offering automation through ServiceNow.

Collaboration and Support:

• Partner with development teams to make applications sing on Windows platforms.
• Offer a helping hand and expert advice to other IT staff and our users.
• Work hand-in-hand with security teams to nail down and maintain killer security practices.

Monitoring and Reporting:

• Set up and manage monitoring tools to keep tabs on system health and performance.
• Implement Automated Event Driven Operations.
• Share regular updates on system performance, uptime, and any security happenings.

Hey there! We're looking for someone awesome to join us. Here's what we're after:

• Freelance? Nope, not possible. You'll need to be fluent in English, though!
• Education: A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or something similar would be fantastic.
• Experience: We'd love to see at least 3 years in a similar role, plus solid experience in IT Infrastructure.
• Virtualization: Got experience with technologies like VMware? That's a big plus!
• Coding: A minimum of 3 years of coding experience is essential.
• Location: You'll need to live within a 1.5-hour commute of Eindhoven.
• Onboarding: During your onboarding, we'll need you to work full-time in the office.
• Application: Please send your personal motivation and CV in English.
• Screening: Just a heads-up, if you're selected to start with the client, there will be a pre-employment screening. You can only start after successfully completing this.
• ID: Make sure you have a valid passport or ID card ready for verification at intake and on your start date.

And here are some things that would be super cool if you have:

• Dutch Language: Speaking Dutch would be a great advantage!
• Control-M: Experience as a Control-M Administrator is definitely a nice-to-have.
• Certifications: Are you Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator or Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate? Awesome!
• DevOps: Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices is highly valued.
• Containers: Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker or Kubernetes would be a big bonus.
• Ansible: Familiarity with Ansible is also something we're keen on.
• ServiceNow: Advanced knowledge of ServiceNow would be fantastic.

Working conditions: This job role offers a balanced split between operational (run) and project (build) work, with a distribution of 75% operational and 25% project-related tasks. To minimize the impact on business operations, some changes may be scheduled outside of regular business hours.
