We're looking for a Microsoft Fabric/Power BI Admin Engineer to help keep our enterprise analytics platform secure, reliable, and speedy! You'll be playing a key role in managing a service used by over 25,000 of our colleagues.

Your Role and Impact:

As our Microsoft Fabric/Power BI Admin Engineer, you'll be the go-to person for ensuring our enterprise analytics platform runs like a dream, no matter the scale. You’ll be in charge of the tenant, fine-tuning capacity performance, establishing clear workspace guidelines, automating repetitive tasks, and lending a hand to teams facing tricky issues. Your efforts will empower thousands of colleagues to generate trustworthy insights on a platform that's not only easy to manage and compliant but also future-ready.

What You'll Be Doing (Examples):

• Setting up monitoring to pinpoint which data models, dataflows, and refreshes are using the most capacity.
• Transforming usage, performance, and cost data into actionable improvements for the Fabric platform.
• Automating routine administration and deployments using tools like PowerShell, REST APIs, Azure DevOps, and YAML pipelines.
• Building dashboards and reports that offer a clear view of how Fabric and Power Platform services are being utilized.

Your Top 3 Responsibilities:

• Keeping the Power BI and Microsoft Fabric environment well-organized and secure, covering settings, workspaces, access, and platform-wide controls.
• Ensuring capacities are healthy by monitoring usage, resolving bottlenecks, and enhancing performance, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
• Simplifying day-to-day platform operations through automation, dependable deployment processes, APIs, and straightforward guidance for teams.

You'll also contribute to shaping the platform's roadmap, maintaining security and compliance standards, managing gateways, and resolving any incidents that pop up.

Our Power Platform Squad is responsible for Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, M365 Copilot, Copilot Studio, Power Apps, and Power Automate, guiding teams in their responsible use of these services. You'll join a technically-minded, data-driven team, collaborating closely with platform engineers, architects, security specialists, and other stakeholders to transform business needs into reliable services.

Working conditions: This job role offers a balanced split between operational (run) and project (build) work, with a distribution of 75% operational and 25% project-related tasks. To minimize the impact on business operations, some changes may be scheduled outside of regular business hours.
