We're on the hunt for a super sharp and proactive QA Engineer to jump aboard our awesome team! If you're all about details and love making things work perfectly, this is your chance.

Our team is the powerhouse behind the Service Management APIs within the IT Service Automation Platform. We make sure our stakeholders can tap into Service Management and CMDB data smoothly, securely, and in a way that just makes sense. In this role, you'll be the guardian of our APIs' quality, reliability, and performance. You'll be teaming up with developers, our product owner, and the solution architect to cook up killer testing strategies, boost automation, and keep our platform top-notch.

The perfect fit for this role is someone who's a whiz at API testing, has a solid grasp of service management processes (think ITIL!), and is genuinely passionate about automation, excellent quality engineering, and always striving to be better.

Here’s what you’ll be doing:

• Helping to craft and roll out comprehensive test strategies – covering functional, integration, regression, and performance – for our Service Management APIs.
• Building and maintaining awesome automated test frameworks to validate APIs and integration scenarios.
• Making sure API functionality, data integrity, security, and compliance hit all the right marks.
• Seamlessly integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines so we can test continuously and get super-fast feedback.
• Partnering with development teams to weave quality right into the fabric of API development.
• Playing a key role in managing test data and setting up environments for testing that’s both reliable and repeatable.
• Ensuring our API documentation is perfectly in sync with what's built and how it's tested.
• Keeping an eye on API performance and reliability, and helping to pinpoint the root causes of any hiccups.
• Lending a hand in incident management by troubleshooting issues and validating fixes in environments that mirror production.
• Clearly sharing insights about quality, potential risks, and test results with everyone, whether they're techy or not.

• You're a pro with API testing tools, getting hands-on experience is key!

Working conditions: This job role offers a balanced split between operational (run) and project (build) work, with a distribution of 75% operational and 25% project-related tasks. To minimize the impact on business operations, some changes may be scheduled outside of regular business hours.
