Our team is at the forefront of delivering Service Management APIs, powering the IT Service Automation Platform. We enable seamless, secure, and compliant access to vital Service Management and CMDB data. As our next QA Engineer, you'll be the guardian of our APIs' quality, reliability, and performance. You'll dive deep into designing and implementing killer testing strategies, boost our automation game, and continuously elevate the quality across the entire platform, all while collaborating closely with developers, our product owner, and the solution architect.

If you've got rock-solid API testing chops, a good grasp of service management processes (think ITIL!), and a genuine enthusiasm for automation, quality engineering, and always getting better, then you're exactly who we're looking for!

Here's what you'll be doing:

  • Helping shape and execute comprehensive test strategies – think functional, integration, regression, and performance testing for our Service Management APIs.
  • Building and maintaining slick automated test frameworks for API validation and integration.
  • Making sure our APIs are spot-on when it comes to functionality, data integrity, security, and compliance.
  • Integrating automated tests into our CI/CD pipelines for that sweet, sweet continuous testing and rapid feedback.
  • Teaming up with our development squads to bake quality right into the API development process.
  • Getting your hands dirty with test data management and environment setup to ensure our testing is rock-solid and repeatable.
  • Keeping our API documentation sharp and making sure it perfectly matches the implemented features and test coverage.
  • Keeping a watchful eye on API performance and reliability, and jumping in to help figure out the root causes of any hiccups.
  • Playing a key role in incident management by troubleshooting issues and verifying fixes in environments that mirror production.
  • Sharing your quality insights, highlighting risks, and presenting test results clearly to everyone, whether they're tech wizards or not.

Working conditions: This job role offers a balanced split between operational (run) and project (build) work, with a distribution of 75% operational and 25% project-related tasks. To minimize the impact on business operations, some changes may be scheduled outside of regular business hours.
