You'll be diving into one of Rabobank's largest Tribes, with a massive team of 650 colleagues. As a senior MLOps engineer, you'll be working hand-in-hand with both the Model Factory team (our platform gurus!) and the Data Science team. You'll own the entire end-to-end deployment lifecycle for AI services. Think CI/CD pipelines, containerized deployments, observability, and seamless environment management (DEV/UAT/PROD). You'll be the crucial technical link connecting our brilliant data scientists with the platform team, ensuring our GenAI/Agentic workloads run like a dream in Production. Get ready to design and maintain key infrastructure for LLM-based and agentic AI applications, including container orchestration, API serving layers, and integration with Azure AI Services. Plus, you'll be proactively brainstorming and leading design sessions with both your immediate team and the platform team.

Functie Eisen

We're looking for someone to take ownership of making sure our platforms and pipelines are humming along perfectly, ready to get our agents into production. This is your chance to really make an impact!

Here's what will make you a great fit:

• You've got hands-on experience with Generative AI, and even better if you've dived into Agentic AI.
• You're a pro at aligning with stakeholders and supporting platform teams – collaboration is key!
• You're comfortable orchestrating both data pipelines and ML model pipelines.
• You know your way around ML Ops best practices and getting AI products production-ready.
• You're fluent in Python and Bash, and you've worked closely with data science teams.
• You're familiar with the right tools for the job, like:
  • Data engineering tools, especially on Azure Databricks.
  • AI Services such as Azure OpenAI Service, Azure Document Intelligence, and Azure AI Search.
  • Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines for deploying containerized solutions across development, UAT, and production environments.
  • Observability tools for LLM-based workloads, covering tracing, structured logging, and monitoring things like latency, token usage, and costs.

Bonus points if you have:

• Experience setting up a 'gold standard' or blueprint for ML models – that's a huge plus!
• Experience implementing feature stores would be awesome.
• Ideally, you've got some experience in the banking sector.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes/Docker is a nice-to-have.
• Experience with LangGraph / LangChain would be a definite advantage.
• Knowledge of supporting services like PostgreSQL and Redis (for LangGraph state management and checkpointing).

Working conditions: This job role offers a balanced split between operational (run) and project (build) work, with a distribution of 75% operational and 25% project-related tasks. To minimize the impact on business operations, some changes may be scheduled outside of regular business hours.
