You and your job

You will work in a dynamic environment with colleagues from diverse international backgrounds, helping to facilitate and enable the implementation of AI within the bank. You will be part of the Global AI Chapter, whose mission is to accelerate the adoption of AI in line with business priorities, ensure the responsible and structured use of AI, and promote a strong AI culture and craftsmanship. Our work focuses on delivering AI-driven improvements for customers and employees, and we contribute to collectively growing towards a better world. The chapter is rapidly evolving, both as a team and as a global partner for colleagues within the organization, so adaptability and openness to change are essential.

You have a strong interest in translating business needs into functional requirements and excel at solving complex problems. Your ability to collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders is of great importance. You actively engage with users, developers, and colleagues within the Global AI Chapter to fully understand new needs and ensure they are translated into the appropriate technical capabilities.

Your responsibilities

By closely collaborating with the internal development team, you help shape solutions that meet global standards and contribute to the design, development, and enhancement of a global application supporting AI system inventory and workflow management. This makes your work both impactful and continuously evolving. Your primary responsibility is to translate business needs into functional requirements for the AI System Inventory (AISI) and ensure a coherent implementation in accordance with global standards. You play a key role in enabling responsible AI use and ensuring compliance within the bank. You also ensure that the data used within these processes meets high standards of accuracy, completeness, and consistency to support effective risk management and reliable reporting. Throughout your work, you maintain compliance with Rabobank's compliance and safety standards.

Contributing to an exciting challenge

In addition to your core tasks, you will have the opportunity to contribute to one of our most exciting current challenges: redefining the vision and strategy for the AI System Inventory (AISI). We are taking bold steps to modernize the platform and exploring how AI can support our chapter internally. In this role, you can play an active part in shaping this new strategy—helping us discover new opportunities, experimenting with emerging technologies, and transforming the AISI into a future-proof foundation for AI at Rabobank.

As a Business Analyst, you can make a difference:

  • In capturing and prioritizing requirements in collaboration with the product owner, balancing business needs and technical feasibility.
  • In identifying, modeling, and documenting business processes and requirements for AI system inventory and workflow management.
  • In supporting the resolution of obstacles and contributing to continuous improvement.
  • Collaborating with the product owner and the DevOps team on planning and roadmaps.
  • As the primary point of contact for stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and alignment.
  • Constructively challenging stakeholders on requirements to fit within Rabobank's global operations.
  • Using your creativity to enhance communication and collaboration, enabling teams to work together more effectively and enjoyably. Ensuring that quality principles of data, accuracy, completeness, and consistency are embedded in all processes to support reliable reporting and risk management.
  • Playing an active role in shaping the future of AISI, contributing to the new vision and strategy as we redefine the platform and explore how AI can support both the bank and our chapter internally.
