As a DevOps Engineer, you play a key role in ensuring the stability, security, and performance of our mission-critical applications. The Sanctions Detection team of FEC (Responsible for the transaction filtering Models within Rabobank) is not just a team; it fuels the Sanction Analysts with critical FEC/Sanction alerts. You will help control the progress of our (software) DevOps processes. Being self-aware, you recognize your unique qualities and use them as effectively as possible. As a proactive team player, you'll quickly identify what the team needs to accelerate its progress.
This year's roadmap includes several functional and infrastructure changes planned for the Transaction Filtering squads. This means that while we develop the new system, maintaining the current system and ensuring Life Cycle Management remains a top priority. You will be part of a DevOps Squad responsible for building new applications aimed at screening.

Requirements
You & Your Talent
Education: Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or a related field.
Experience: Minimum 3 years of working experience.
You have an eye for Security, Vulnerability Management, and (Azure) Compliance.
Experience in improving the quality of monitoring tools (e.g. Splunk, Dynatrace, SignalFX, Grafana).
Strong scripting and automation skills, executing key testing activities including Security Testing, Disaster Recovery Testing, and High Availability Testing.
Proven experience in high-availability, mission-critical environments.
Deep operational knowledge of technologies like:
- Experience with Azure products and development (specifically: Azure DevOps and CI/CD).
- Experience with Linux (e.g. RHEL) and infrastructure-related knowledge.
- Experience with certificates, Ansible, databases/SQL (e.g. Oracle).
- Experience with Jboss.
Hands-on experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and lifecycle management.
Professional proficiency in English, with excellent communication skills for cross-team collaboration.
You are a pro-active team player, hands-on, solution-driven, and show a sense of ownership.
You believe in process automation as a crucial part of service delivery.
You are a Critical Thinker and always investigate the Root Cause.

What Would Be Helpful Too:
- Experience in FEC and more specifically in Transaction Screening applications.
- Experience with Kafka, Python.
- Knowledge related to containers (Docker/Podman).
