You help our squads with the exciting task to protect our customers. Do you want to make a difference as a DevOps engineer in the Area Sanction Detection? Our systems and models monitor and protect our payment streams and channels 24/7. As a DevOps engineer, you will be at that starting point together with the best colleagues from the FEC industry. With them, you will bring our IT to the next level. And that is only the beginning. We are looking for a DevOps engineer in an agile team. Specifically, we're looking for a passionate problem-solver with an affinity for FEC and Sanction Detection.

An experienced DevOps engineer who gets energy from improving and simplifying a complex architecture, managing security, and our deployments while remaining cost-effective. The Sanction Detection team of FEC isn't just a team; it fuels the Sanction Analysts with critical FEC/Sanction alerts. You will support the teams and help them control the progress of the (software) DevOps processes. You are self-aware, knowing your unique qualities and how to use them effectively. You are a proactive team player who immediately identifies what a team needs to accelerate. This year’s roadmap includes several functional and infrastructure changes planned for the Transaction Filtering/Namescreening squads. This means that during the development of the new system, the current system still needs to be maintained, and LCM remains a top priority. For this, we are looking for a DevOps engineer, specifically with a high technical level. Supervising model validations and implementing findings published from MVs and internal audit is also an important task. He or she will be part of a DevOps Squad (consisting of 8 people), responsible for building the new applications aimed at screening.

Job Requirements

We are on the lookout for talented individuals who meet the following criteria:

• Language Skills: Good English and Dutch is mandatory.
• Education: Bachelor or master’s degree in IT.
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience with Agile Way of Working.
• Technical Expertise: Minimum of 3 years of experience with Azure products and development.
• Azure Knowledge: Familiarity with Azure, specifically:
  - Azure Data Bricks
  - Azure Functions Core Tools
  - Azure web services
  - Azure DevOps and CI/CD
• Programming Skills: Experience with Python and PySpark.
• Data Visualization: Experience with Power BI.
• Operating Systems: Experience with Linux.
• Security Enthusiasm: A passion for security topics like Vulnerability Management and Azure compliance. Please showcase your certifications, especially related to Azure.
• Communication: Good communication skills are essential.

Working conditions: This job role offers a balanced split between operational (run) and project (build) work, with a distribution of 75% operational and 25% project-related tasks. To minimize the impact on business operations, some changes may be scheduled outside of regular business hours.
