DevOps Engineer Identity & Access Management (IAM)
Job description
DevOps Engineer – Identity & Access Management (IAM)
For Rabobank Utrecht, we are looking for a DevOps Engineer who combines deep technical expertise with the energy, vision, and leadership to inspire and elevate those around them. As an Engineer, you’ll act as both technical authority and team motivator — driving innovation, setting engineering standards, and representing your team confidently in cross-functional discussions.
About the Position
Identity & Access Management (IAM) ensures that every employee has the right and secure access to buildings, data, and applications — nothing more, nothing less. It’s the digital front door to our organization: without it, we couldn’t log in to applications or protect sensitive data effectively. IAM safeguards our company by verifying every access request, granting or denying permissions, and managing employee accounts — ensuring compliance, security, and operational excellence.
Our Access Management team is now implementing the Entra ID token enrichment solution and exploring a next-generation XBAC solution based on cutting-edge technology. This is a unique opportunity to apply your technical expertise at the forefront of a major transformation — shaping the IAM landscape of the future.
What You’ll Do
- Take ownership of complex technical challenges within a high-impact IAM environment;
- Help design, implement, and operate scalable, secure IAM solutions;
- Champion automation, testing, and security best practices — building sustainable systems for the long run;
- Work closely with your teammates to improve continuously, coach, share knowledge, and deliver top-quality results;
- Represent the team confidently in cross-department discussions and technical communities;
- Lead the build-run-operate mindset of a critical component in the authorization backbone of the bank.
About the Team
You’ll join a tight-knit team of 5–7 DevOps engineers — passionate techies who enjoy tackling problems together. We take full ownership of the entire lifecycle — from concept to deployment and operations. Collaboration, craftsmanship, and curiosity are at the heart of everything we do.
