About Project Solace

Project Solace aims to address the #1 issue in Wholesale: dual pressure on our return on capital and future-proof delivery mechanisms. The project revolves around Credit Risk Mitigation (CRM) and consists of three main elements:

• Unfunded Credit Participation (UFCP)
• Strategic Partnership
• Robust Delivery Mechanism

We are looking for an experienced Senior Front-End Developer with extensive React experience for Project Solace. You will be working on two front-ends built with React and NextJS, supported by two back-ends. Currently, a junior front-end developer is working on the project, and we need someone who is not only technically strong but also possesses the soft skills to mentor this junior.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain front-end applications using React and NextJS.
• Mentor and support a junior front-end developer.
• Assist in refining and planning PBI's (Product Backlog Items) during sprints.
• Collaborate with the team to build a robust and scalable system, with a strong focus on the robust delivery mechanism to ensure structured data exchange, reduce operational risk, and enhance scalability.

About the Candidate:

• Experience: You have at least 5 years of experience as a professional front-end developer.
• Next/React Expertise: You have at least 3 years of experience in working with Next/React.
• Mentorship: You have experience in guiding junior front-end developers.
• Testing and Debugging: You have experience with testing and debugging.
• Attention to Detail: You have a keen eye for details and can discuss the viability of UX designs.

Working conditions: This job role offers a balanced split between operational (run) and project (build) work, with a distribution of 75% operational and 25% project-related tasks. To minimize the impact on business operations, some changes may be scheduled outside of regular business hours.
