Vacature: Lead Project Engineer Netwerken

We zoeken een Lead Project Engineer Netwerken voor ons team IP Access. Dit team is verantwoordelijk voor het ontwikkelen en onderhouden van fysieke en logische netwerk-infrastructuren in alle (kantoor)gebouwen en meetveldlocaties van IV-O en haar klanten, zoals RIVM, KNMI, CTGB en B30.

Het productportfolio van IP Access omvat onder andere:

• Kantoornetwerk
• Draadloos netwerk
• Veldlocatie netwerk
• Netwerk zonering
• WAN-verbindingen
• Beheervoorzieningen ten behoeve van orchestration, security en role-based access voor het netwerk

Hiervoor maken we gebruik van technologieën zoals:

• Cisco LAN/WAN/WIFI apparatuur
• Cisco DNA
• Cisco ISE
• Fortigate firewalls
• Ansible automation
• Solarwinds monitoring

Als Lead Project Engineer speel je een belangrijke en cruciale rol. Je hebt een inhoudelijk leidende rol in projectteam(s) en bent samen met de architect verantwoordelijk voor het ontwerpen en realiseren van oplossingen, zoals het maken van implementatieplannen en het begeleiden van implementaties.

Projecten en Deliverables

Gedurende de opdracht zijn enkele van de projecten en deliverables:

• Technisch ontwerp en implementatie van Fit-for-Purpose LCM transformatie van de gehele KNMI netwerkinfrastructuur, bestaande uit een meetnet netwerk, centrale netwerkknooppunt in het datacenter en vernieuwing van kantoor-(W)LAN.
• Technisch ontwerp en implementatie van WAN netwerkontsluiting en (W)LAN upgrade van RIVM DVP locaties in Zwolle, Eindhoven en Zoetermeer, inclusief diverse satellietlocaties.
• Technisch ontwerp en implementatie van WAN netwerkontsluiting en (W)LAN upgrade van het CTGB netwerk in Ede.

Alle projecten omvatten:

• Het technisch coördineren van de netwerkinrichting met interne en externe stakeholders
• Het begeleiden van de technische realisatie van de netwerkcomponenten
• Het verzorgen van technische documentatie en overdracht
• Het ondersteunen bij de fysieke en functionele migraties

Eisen

Algemene Vereisten

• Algemeen HBO/WO diploma
• Geldige netwerk certificeringen op Cisco CCDP niveau of vergelijkbaar
• Geldige certificeringen op het gebied van (netwerk) security, zoals CISSP
• Relevante certificaten op het gebied van architectuur

Specifieke Vereisten

Aantoonbare uitgebreide ervaring met:

• Implementaties van Cisco routing en switching
• Implementaties van Cisco LAN en wireless technologieën
• Implementaties van Fortinet firewalls
• Implementaties van software defined networking
• Implementaties van Cisco DNA
• Netwerk automation en infra-as-code, bij voorkeur met Ansible
• Implementaties van SSL, Radius, VPN

Profiel

Ervaring als lead netwerk (solution) engineer binnen omvangrijke projecten is essentieel.

Aanvullende eisen

Bereidheid om werkzaamheden in onderhoudsvensters (avond/weekend) uit te voeren.

Competenties

• Ervaring met werken in Agile/Scrum projectteams
• Ervaring met projectmatige implementaties en aansturing van (project) teams
• Kennis van en ervaring met werken onder architectuur

Working conditions: This job role offers a balanced split between operational (run) and project (build) work, with a distribution of 75% operational and 25% project-related tasks. To minimize the impact on business operations, some changes may be scheduled outside of regular business hours.
