Field Engineer Networks (junior/medior)

Wij zijn op zoek naar een Field Engineer Netwerken voor onze teams IP Access. Dit team is verantwoordelijk voor het ontwikkelen en onderhouden van fysieke en logische netwerk-infrastructuren in alle (kantoor)gebouwen en meetveldlocaties van IV-O en haar klanten, zoals RIVM, KNMI, CTGB en B30.

Als Field Engineer Networks speel je een uitvoerende rol in projectteam(s), waar je taken op je neemt zoals het aansluiten en installeren van apparatuur, het aansluiten en onderhouden van bekabeling, en meer. Je biedt ook hulp aan de medewerkers van het NOC (Network Operations Center), bijvoorbeeld door het monitoren van systemen en het oplossen van storingen.

Concreet staan de volgende opdrachten op je te wachten:

• Monitoren en oplossen van netwerk storingen op verschillende kantoren en veldlocaties.
• Begeleiden van de wifi site survey bij CTGB in Ede.
• Installatie van CTGB nieuwe LAN en access points in Ede.
• Installatie van access points bij DVP in Eindhoven.
• Installatie van access points bij KNMI in De Bilt.
• Inventarisatie en bijhouden van voorraad access points.
• Inventarisatie en opruimen van de staging ruimte.
• Maken van patches op locatie (standaard change).
• Installatie en patching van testomgeving.
• Onsite ondersteuning bij migratie DVP naar Eurofiber in Eindhoven, Zwolle en Zoetermeer.
• Decommissioning en afvoer van oude apparatuur van KNMI in De Bilt.
• Ondersteuning bij fysieke aanpassingen in het Datacenter KNMI in De Bilt.
• Uitvoeren van eenvoudigere upgrade changes.
• Uitfaseren of vervangen van server access switches bij RIVM in Bilthoven.
• Coördinatie en deels uitvoering van de leeg oplevering van het RIVM-terrein in Bilthoven in het kader van verhuizing naar nieuwe huisvesting in Utrecht.

Eisen

Algemeen:

• MBO4 ICT diploma en/of HBO werk en denk niveau
• Minstens 1 relevante netwerk certificaat van niveau CCNP of gelijkwaardig
• Additionele relevante netwerk certificaten
• Relevante security certificeringen

Specifiek:

• Aantoonbare ervaring met beheer en troubleshooting van Cisco routing en switching
• Aantoonbare ervaring met beheer en troubleshooting van LAN en wireless technologieën
• Aantoonbare ervaring met beheer en troubleshooting van Fortinet firewalls
• Aantoonbare uitgebreide ervaring met implementaties van SSL, Radius, VPN

Vereisten

Profiel:

• Als netwerk engineer KNOCK OUT eisen
• Inzetbereidheid voor werkzaamheden in onderhoudsvensters (avond/weekend)
• In bezit van rijbewijs en eigen vervoer

Competenties

Competenties:

• Ervaring met werken in Agile/Scrum teams
• Ervaring met projectmatige implementaties en (project) teams aansturen
• Kennis van en ervaring met werken onder architectuur

Working conditions: This job role offers a balanced split between operational (run) and project (build) work, with a distribution of 75% operational and 25% project-related tasks. To minimize the impact on business operations, some changes may be scheduled outside of regular business hours.
