Network Solution Architect

We zoeken een Network Solution Architect voor verschillende infrastructurele projecten, met diepgaande kennis en ervaring van fysieke en logische netwerk-infrastructuren, zowel in datacentra als in gebouwen en veldlocaties. De ontwerp- en adviesrol binnen diverse trajecten wordt uitgevoerd in nauwe samenwerking met projectteams, beheerorganisatie en onder regie van architectuurloket.

Het productportfolio van onze Netwerk teams bestaat o.a. uit:

• datacenter netwerk
• edge connectiviteit
• kantoornetwerk
• draadloos netwerk
• veldlocatie netwerk
• netwerk zonering
• WAN verbindingen
• beheervoorzieningen t.b.v. orchestration
• security en (role based) access voor het netwerk

Hiervoor worden technologieën ingezet van o.a. Cisco DNA, Cisco ISE, Cisco ACI, Fortigate firewalls, Ansible automation, en Solarwinds monitoring. De Network Solution Architect speelt hierin een belangrijke en cruciale rol. Als architect heb je een inhoudelijk leidende rol in projectteam(s) en ben je verantwoordelijk voor het ontwerpen en realiseren van oplossingen, zoals:

• maken van HLD/LLD's
• maken van implementatieplannen
• begeleiden van implementaties

Alle projecten omvatten:

• Het opstellen van een netwerkarchitectuur
• Het maken van High Level Designs en Low Level Designs
• Het inhoudelijk begeleiden van de technische realisatie

Tegelijkertijd kom je te werken in een multidisciplinair team van verschillende architecten met ieder een eigen specialisme. Je maakt deel uit van onze overkoepelende Architectuurloket. Met je collega-architecten breng jij onze architectuur naar een hoger plan en ontwerp je mee aan een veilige IT landschap.

Als Netwerk Architect ben je verantwoordelijk voor het creëren en handhaven van architecturale kaders op het gebied van Netwerken. Je adviseert over de toepassing van architectuurprincipes en ontwerpt netwerkdoelarchitecturen voor infrastructuren van RIVM en haar klanten. Je bent een belangrijke sparringpartner van de engineers, het management, product owners, enterprise en domeinarchitecten, en vele andere stakeholders.

Eisen

Algemeen:

• HBO/WO diploma
• Geldige netwerk certificeringen op Cisco CCDP niveau of vergelijkbaar
• Geldige certificeringen op het gebied van (netwerk) security, zoals CISSP
• Relevante certificaten op het gebied van architectuur

Specifiek:

• Uitgebreide kennis en ervaring met het ontwerpen en bouwen van netwerkoplossingen
• Kennis en ervaring met Cisco datacenter infrastructuur (ACI)
• Kennis en ervaring met Cisco LAN/WAN en Wireless infrastructuur (DNA)
• Kennis en ervaring met Fortinet firewalls
• Kennis van en ervaring met netwerk security
• Kennis en ervaring met software designed networking, infra-as-code en automation

Vereisten Profiel:

• Ervaring met architectuurwerkzaamheden (PSA’s/HLD’s/etc.) als netwerk (solution) architect binnen projecten

Competenties:

• Ervaring met werken in Agile/Scrum projectteams
• Ervaring met projectmatige implementaties en (project) teams aansturen
• Kennis van en ervaring met informatiebeveiliging normen

Working conditions: This job role offers a balanced split between operational (run) and project (build) work, with a distribution of 75% operational and 25% project-related tasks. To minimize the impact on business operations, some changes may be scheduled outside of regular business hours.
