Job Opportunity: Platform Engineer

For our client in Amsterdam, we are looking for a Platform Engineer with expertise in Linux, Azure DevOps, Ansible, Kubernetes, and more!

Your Role

You will work with our multidisciplinary GRDM Business DevOps squad, taking on end-to-end responsibilities. You'll be involved in the entire development lifecycle, from refining user stories to monitoring software in production.

The purpose of the GRDM platform is to ensure consistent adoption of reference data by establishing and maintaining a trusted source of record for reference data. It plays a vital role in various business processes, from data management to payment flows, storing and distributing both bank-wide and local reference data. Moreover, it provides a web-based solution for managing and accessing information, along with file-based distributions and API-based retrieval of reference data.

As a Platform Engineer, We Expect You To:

• Have experience in a corporate agile environment (DevOps, Scrum)
• Be comfortable handling repetitive operational tasks and excel at multitasking
• Have a willingness to learn and adapt to evolving technologies
• Perform operational tasks (deployments, LCM, change and incident support, troubleshooting, monitoring, risk evidencing)
• Have a passion for problem-solving
• Work well under pressure, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
• Be a team player and help the team achieve collective goals
• Be part of our standby/on-call schedule for support outside office hours
• Possess excellent English communication skills, especially when explaining technical topics to non-tech stakeholders
