Are you excited about developing cutting-edge AI solutions that can transform credit processes? We are searching for an experienced Product Owner for our Credit Report Generation product, a vital initiative within our AI Impact Lab program.
Your Role & Responsibilities
As the Product Owner, you will spearhead the delivery of a GenAI-powered solution that revolutionizes credit report generation within our Rural domain. Here’s what you’ll be doing:
- Define the product vision in close collaboration with business experts, tribes, and the AI Impact Lab.
- Lead the development team through all stages: Idea, Exploration, (Re)Build & Test, and Usage.
- Ensure compliance with Rabobank’s AI Way of Working (AI WoW), including governance and quality standards.
- Prioritize features based on customer value, strategic impact, and technical feasibility.
- Facilitate collaboration between the RANZ region, Utrecht HQ, and key stakeholders such as the AI Officer, AI Value Office, and Chapter Data Analytics Office.
Additional Details
- This assignment focuses on Australia and New Zealand. Due to the time difference, flexibility in the start of your working day is required (you should be prepared to start by 7 am if necessary).
- On Mondays and Wednesdays, you will need to work from the office in Utrecht.
- You must reside in The Netherlands.
- We are looking for a creative individual with product experience, who communicates excellently and finds excitement in establishing new initiatives.
- The program currently being launched will involve 30 participants overall, with 7 to 9 individuals working on this specific project.
Contract Details
Duration: 08-12-2025 to 4 September 2026, with an option for extension.
Location: Utrecht
Employment Status: No self-employed candidates, please.

Requirements
You and Your Talent
• At least 5 years experience as a Product Owner or similar role in a complex, agile environment.
• A Master’s degree.
• Knowledge of AI/GenAI applications and a strong affinity with data-driven solutions.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills and the ability to bridge business and technology.
• Familiarity with governance and stage-gate processes is a plus.
• Strong communication skills in English (Dutch is a bonus).
• Experience with Agile.
• Banking experience is preferred.

Working conditions: This job role offers a balanced split between operational (run) and project (build) work, with a distribution of 75% operational and 25% project-related tasks. To minimize the impact on business operations, some changes may be scheduled outside of regular business hours.
