De afdeling

De afdeling IT Data & Projects bestaat uit zo’n 65 professionals. Wij maken deel uit van de Projects afdeling, die uit ongeveer 300 collega’s bestaat en de vele projecten op Schiphol managet. Van bouw tot IT. Het klant ITDP richt zich anderzijds op software- en hardwareontwikkeling, en anderzijds op een van onze interne klanten, Schiphol Telematics, dat zich richt op telecommunicatie en netwerken. Binnen het specialisme telecommunicatie zoeken wij versterking.

Wat speelt er?

Er is een programma lopend dat we noemen: Critical Mobile Broadband.

Voor bedrijfskritische communicatie maakt Schiphol momenteel gebruik van een TETRA-communicatiesysteem. Dagelijks maken meer dan 1200 medewerkers van Schiphol Safety, Security & Environment, Airport Operations, Bagage en BHV gebruik van dit systeem.

Het huidige communicatiesysteem is end-of-life en moet worden vervangen. Daarnaast zijn er binnen Schiphol vele initiatieven om haar digitale ambities te vervullen. Dit uit zich onder meer in het gebruik van sensoren en mobiele apps, waarmee de luchthaven betere informatie verkrijgt voor procesoptimalisatie en -besturing. Het nieuwe communicatiesysteem dient deze digitale ambities maximaal te ondersteunen.

Jouw rol

Wij zijn aanbeland in de migratiefase. Als Projectmanager IT is het jouw verantwoordelijkheid en zorg om de uitvoering te begeleiden. Dit zorgt ervoor dat al onze gebruikers een soepele uitrol kunnen garanderen. Dit vraagt veel afstemming, stakeholdermanagement, regelwerk en coördinatie. Jij bent in de lead en weet wat er speelt. Zo rapporteer je over de voortgang en zorg je ervoor dat wij door kunnen gaan met onze uitvoering.

Wat breng je mee?

• HBO werk- en denkniveau;
• 4 tot 6 jaar ervaring als IT-projectmanager;
• Kennis en ervaring met het managen van IT-projecten met veel technische componenten;
• PRINCE2 Practitioner-gecertificeerd (recent behaald en/of toegepast in de praktijk);
• Vakkennis van hardware- en softwarevervangingstrajecten;
• Teamspeler die tegelijkertijd het project effectief weet te managen;
• Interesse in telecommunicatie;
• Resultaatgericht en laat zich niet snel afwijzen;
• Bewaakt scope, budget en planning en zet zich hier vol voor in.

Working conditions: This job role offers a balanced split between operational (run) and project (build) work, with a distribution of 75% operational and 25% project-related tasks. To minimize the impact on business operations, some changes may be scheduled outside of regular business hours.
