As a Scrum Master, you will be part of Credit Core, a cutting-edge tribe within Rabobank that provides credit risk services to optimize business operations for the bank and its clients. For three of our squads working on gathering and distributing risk data to the bank on a worldwide scale, we seek an enthusiastic Scrum Master. What We Are Looking for in a Scrum Master:

You are the critical mirror for your Product Owner and your team members, striving for a balance of value delivery and sustainability. While knowing the theory in detail, you understand the soul and values of Agile, focusing on them rather than just the method.

You and Your Job:

You make the difference. Your mission is to elevate your squads to the next level in all dimensions: Way of Working, productivity, and team happiness. It is your role, together with your team, the Product Owner, and the other Scrum Masters in the area, to ensure that we deliver maximum customer value. Sometimes you accomplish this by hosting a productive retro, other times by monitoring the velocity, or even by boosting the confidence of colleagues during one-on-one conversations. This requires focus and skills, finding out the question behind the question, and, when necessary, seeking confrontation.

  1. Leading high-performing teams with an eye for improvements.
  2. Focusing on team value delivery, happiness, stability, and predictability.
  3. Facilitating the Scrum rituals and Rabobank S@S Way of Work.

Details:

Position: Scrum Master

Duration: 03-11-2025 to 30-04-2026 with the option for extension.

Language: English mandatory.

Location: Utrecht.

Requirements

Experience as Scrum Master

As a Scrum Master, I bring a wealth of experience in:

  • Managing a complex stakeholder landscape
  • Leading Agile DevOps squads
  • Applying Scrum and Agile methods and principles (PSM I)
  • Embedding and utilizing the right metrics
  • Working within Azure DevOps or similar task/project tracking tools

Additionally, I possess a mastery of the English language.

It Would Be Nice If You:

  • Are PSM II certified
  • Hold PSPO I & II certifications
  • Have experience as a Scrum Master with IT DevOps teams
  • Have experience with Rabobank S@S WoW/rituals

Working conditions: This job role offers a balanced split between operational (run) and project (build) work, with a distribution of 75% operational and 25% project-related tasks. To minimize the impact on business operations, some changes may be scheduled outside of regular business hours.
