Vacature: Test Engineer Process Automation bij Schiphol Group

Als Test Engineer Process Automation behoren de volgende taken tot jouw kernverantwoordelijkheden:

• Ontwerpen en onderhouden van geautomatiseerde testcases met behulp van het Cucumber Java framework, gebaseerd op requirements en acceptatiecriteria.
• Ontwerpen en onderhouden van performancetests met frameworks zoals JMeter.
• Bouwen aan en verbeteren van de geautomatiseerde test suite ter ondersteuning van continuous integration en deployment (CI/CD).
• Samenwerken met developers, informatieanalisten en product owner om acceptatiecriteria en teststrategieën te definiëren en te verfijnen.
• Validatie van de integratie van backend-microservices (ontwikkeld in USoft).
• Zorgen voor robuuste regressietests en testdekking over verschillende omgevingen.
• Ondersteunen van het team bij het verbeteren van de testaanpak en werkwijze.
• Gebruikmaken van tools zoals GitHub, OpenShift en scripttalen (PowerShell, Bash, etc.) om automatisering en omgevingsconfiguratie te ondersteunen.

De afdeling IT & Data bouwt aan de luchthaven van de toekomst. Dat doen we met slimme digitale oplossingen, tools en applicaties. Je hebt het in je!

Je brengt precisie, inzicht en een samenwerkende instelling mee. Daarnaast beschik je over:

• Een bacheloropleiding in IT of een gerelateerd vakgebied
• Gedegen kennis van softwarekwaliteitsborging en principes van testautomatisering
• Ervaring met het vertalen van ontwerpen en requirements naar testcases en scenario’s
• Ervaring met geautomatiseerde testtools en frameworks met gebruik van Gherkin-syntax (bij voorkeur Cucumber)
• Ervaring met API-tests, integratietests en werken met tools zoals ActiveMQ, Kafka of data lakes
• Ervaring met CI/CD-pijplijnen en cloudplatforms (zoals OpenShift, GitHub)
• Ervaring met Docker en Linux-containers
• Bereidheid om te leren over en testen van oplossingen ontwikkeld op het USoft-platform
• Analytisch denkvermogen

Working conditions: This job role offers a balanced split between operational (run) and project (build) work, with a distribution of 75% operational and 25% project-related tasks. To minimize the impact on business operations, some changes may be scheduled outside of regular business hours.
