Test Engineer - Reporting & Value Chain Services (RVCS)

We are looking for a Test Engineer to join our team.

Role Overview

You will be working in a squad that is part of the Reporting & Value Chain Services (RVCS) area within the Markets & Treasury tribe in Wholesale & Rural Tech. This team focuses on enabling clients and colleagues worldwide to conduct business and comply with regulations efficiently and in a user-friendly manner.

Role Description

An additional pair of hands is needed to assist in the development of a system. You will be responsible for designing, creating, and executing all necessary test scenarios to ensure the system's functionality. This role will require you to think creatively and identify test scenarios that primarily cover the back-end of the system. The focus will not only be on code functionality but also on data handling, especially considering the ETL processes involved! Your workload will include connecting with stakeholders to better understand their needs.

About the RVCS Area

The RVCS Area delivers transparent, compliant, and efficient reporting, control, and data services, empowering Financial Markets and Treasury to support the Wholesale and Rural business sectors. RVCS ensures regulatory compliance and operational resilience by proactively managing risks, optimizing costs, and maintaining service continuity. It supports a data-driven culture, strengthens IT governance, and enhances vendor relationships through strategic planning and continuous improvement.

The squad currently consists of 11 members organized into 2 small groups focusing on the development and maintenance of 5 strategic and 4 tactical systems.

Duration: 13 JUN 2025 - 31 DEC 2025 with an option for extension

Your Qualifications

• Strong analytical skills: Ability to learn quickly and grasp complex topics.
• Problem-solving skills: Attention to detail is crucial.
• Result-oriented: A can-do mentality and a proactive learner.
• Technologically savvy: Up to date with the latest technological developments.
• Agile/Scrum experience: Familiar with these methodologies.
• Team player: Self-motivated and self-driven while effectively collaborating with a team.
• Innovative thinker: Able to think outside the box.

Your Experience

• 5 years or more of experience in setting up test scenarios.
• Experience with testing tools and automation frameworks is a must.
• Strong knowledge of testing methodologies is essential.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills are required.
• Knowledge of SQL is mandatory.
• Good communication skills are beneficial.
• Data literacy is a key requirement.
• Nice to have: Familiarity with .Net framework skills (including C#).
• Nice to have: Knowledge of Murex and Flexcube.
• Nice to have: Understanding of FEC (CDD, TM).
