Position: QA / Test Data Engineer

The assignment is for 6 months. We are looking for a QA / Test Data Engineer who has worked with projects through all stages of the development lifecycle. We need someone who can:

• Manage all assigned test tasks & ensure product quality assurance and agreed requirements are met.
• Author and maintain test documentation, including test plans, test scripts, progress reports, and test completion reports.
• Report and track defects through to completion.
• Develop and maintain product knowledge for all systems allocated for project testing.
• Communicate effectively with DevOps teams and stakeholders, ensuring reporting and updates are provided on progress and any issues raised.
• Support the team in defining and implementing testing metrics for test monitoring and control.
• Review and improve the current testing process and implement changes.

Your Expertise

Experienced in functional testing in finance, preferably asset management. Proven experience in data testing (i.e., ingestion, normalization, etc.) and data analysis.

Familiar with the entire testing lifecycle, including system, system integration, user acceptance, and regression testing. Knowledgeable in developing and implementing automation test strategies and frameworks—Data Driven, Keyword Driven, and Hybrid.

• Knowledge and experience of working with a code repository and CI/CD tools such as Git and Azure DevOps.
• Experience with automation testing on cloud platforms, preferably Azure.

You also possess a strong ability to quickly pick up information and turn around deliverables under strict time and quality constraints.

Travel required: 25% to 50%

Working conditions: This job role offers a balanced split between operational (run) and project (build) work, with a distribution of 75% operational and 25% project-related tasks. To minimize the impact on business operations, some changes may be scheduled outside of regular business hours.
