The Application Support Officer is the expert in the field of SaaS application support for our HR products. As a member of the Application Support Chapter, your responsibility is to provide a stable run and support for all SaaS applications within HR, except for Workday. Being ‘in control’ is essential. This role carries significant impact, as you shape it by resolving issues within your squad, chapter, or in cooperation with the supplier. You are studious and challenged by the task of developing expertise on various applications to exceed the expectations of your internal clients.

Currently, some applications are being replaced and new ones added to continuously adapt to changing HR processes and the IT landscape. Furthermore, the SaaS team has adopted a new way of working that is the standard within Rabobank. This approach, called Simplified @ Scale (S@S), focuses on the simplification and acceleration of digitalization within the bank. We do this by working in tribes, areas, chapters, and squads.

The Application Support Engineer is eager to learn and adapt to this new way of working while ensuring that application support continues as planned. In addition, the responsibilities of the Application Support Officer include:

  • Incident and Problem Management
  • IT In Control Activities – Maintaining our recurring Security & Risk assessments up to date, such as Security Assessment Questionnaires, Security Designs, Privacy Impact Assessments (DPIA), and more
  • Collaboration with a diverse and demanding field of IT and HR business stakeholders to ensure high-end service and availability of HR systems
  • Being a professional and reliable partner for system, business, and process owners
  • Helping to further build the application engineering chapter

As an Application Support Officer, you will become part of the team SaaS, which is one of the teams within Global HR Systems (GHS).

GHS is responsible for implementing the standards for global HR Solutions’ ways of working and data management, collaborating with HR teams worldwide. These standards aim for a world-class, agile professional HR organization that delivers business value through standardization, automation, increased forecasting capabilities, and proactive service handling: high tech, high touch.

GHS is part of the HR domain. HR is at the forefront in providing SaaS applications to ensure we can optimally serve our internal clients. In addition to the diverse SaaS applications we support, the biggest cloud application is Workday, which we rolled out in 2019.

Quality orientation, result orientation, and pro-activity are clearly essential competences and characteristics for the role of Application Support Officer. In addition, it's important that you recognize yourself in the points below:

  • Bachelor Degree with 4-7 years of experience
  • Experience with application support on SaaS applications (experience in a similar role would be beneficial)
  • Experience with Security & Risk assessments within the IT In Control process
  • Affinity with HR technology and HR business processes
  • Experience with Learning applications or HR Learning domain is a plus
  • Experience with agile way of working
  • Good command of English and Dutch speaking is required
