You & Your Position

There are only a few places in the Netherlands where you can work in a large scale IAM environment, with a high level of complexity while using the latest, advanced IAM tools & technologies... and this is one of them!

IAM at Rabobank ensures that employees have proper and secure access. We prevent (un)conscious risks or fraud and ensure compliance with laws and regulations. IAM serves as the front door from which employees gain access and it is a key element in securing Rabobank’s infrastructure, applications, and data.

Rabobank has a state-of-the-art IAM platform using best-of-breed technologies. By using these existing capabilities and adding innovative, new applications such as xBAC (“x” Based Access Control), we want to achieve new milestones for IAM: seamless and invisible for end users, fully Cloud supported, and plug & play for our IT colleagues.

As part of the IAM architecture team, your key responsibility is to translate our IAM vision into architecture and specifications, interacting with key stakeholders to achieve the best possible result. The team you will be part of consists of 3-5 Solution Architects and takes responsibility for the full architecture lifecycle, from new ideas into clear specifications and principles ready for detailed design.

We expect you to have a good, generic overview and understanding of the capabilities of IAM solutions so you can match needs and requirements to standards and capabilities of the tools we work with.

Responsibilities

• Translate high level targets into architecture, (security) designs and a blueprint for solutions, aligning with Product Owners, DevOps teams, and other stakeholders
• Rely on your experience in design patterns, published reference architectures, and guidance from Business Architects and other (internal) stakeholders like the Security Operations Centre and First Line Risk Management
• Generate or enhance architecture and design artifacts such as a solution architecture document and technical requirements design document for each of the individual IAM components, including diagrams and technical presentations
• Enable and maximize Cloud usage
• Work on new topics such as xBAC, advanced IAM Orchestration, and more

Besides that, you will be a sparring partner for business, the development team, product owner, and other stakeholders. You will stay abreast of the latest market and technological developments and incorporate these into the execution of your architecture designs. You will also play a key role in monitoring and ensuring the quality of the work of the DevOps team and act as an expert in IAM capabilities and security control discussions.

You and Your Talent

Customer focus, result driven, strong analytical skills are essential for this role. You have a self-starting attitude, excellent communication skills, and organizational sensitivity. You are trained to effectively apply architecture methods and best practices. You have the ability to multi-task and work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

In addition, it is important that you recognize everything in the checklist below:

• Master degree in relevant field
• 5-10 years of experience in a full-time technical role architecting, designing, managing and maintaining IAM/IGA solutions in complex enterprise environments
• Experience with (hybrid) cloud environments and platforms (MS Azure, AWS and Google platform) and the IAM features they present
• Experience in working with multiple IGA and Access Management products
• Knowledge and implementation experience with the usual IAM protocols for authentication, authorization, user provisioning and single sign-on, such as OAuth, OpenID Connect, SAML, Bearer Token, Kerberos/NTLM, LDAP authentication, SCIM
• Certifications may include: CISSP, CISM, MS MC: Azure Security Engineer. AZ-500 (preferred)
• Preference for candidates with training & experience with: TOGAF, SABSA, Archimate
• Experience working in Agile and DevOps environments
• You have the skills to stand by the architecture principles
• Strong creation & writing skills
• You are a team player who plays a constructive and decisive role
• English and Dutch speaking and writing is preferred

Working conditions: This job role offers a balanced split between operational (run) and project (build) work, with a distribution of 75% operational and 25% project-related tasks. To minimize the impact on business operations, some changes may be scheduled outside of regular business hours.
